Get one now and don't tell them that your pregnant until after your probation period. Seriously, employers don't want to hire someone that's pregnant for a lot of reasons. So it's better to get a good job with benefits and good pay before you start showing.

It would really depend on how far you are along. I was in the same situation a little while ago and what I did was applied for the job and after I was hired I let my supervisor know that I had just found out that I was pregnant like 2 weeks in to the job. I say go this route because some employers will look you over for a position if the know off had that you are pregnant

I got a job at just about the same time I got pregnant, but I didn't find out until a few weeks later. I tried to keep working but after a couple of months I had to quit because the morning sickness was so bad that I was spending entire shifts in front of a toilet.

That doesn't mean I'd suggest not getting a job - just try and find one that has flexible hours so that you're not stuck working at 8 AM like I was! If my boss hadn't been such an idiot I would have continued working there as long as possible.

Definitely go ahead a get a job if you really want one. My former employer was very prejudice towards women and when he found out I was pregnant I chose to quit my job then deal with his attitude. I was alomost 4 months preggo. Then I found a job a week later but never told them I was pregnant until they started asking questions around my 6th month because I was showing a lot.

If you want a job get one. Just make sure that its not to stressful or makes you be on your feet the whole time. It may be ok at first but towards the end it will get to hard on your feet and lower back. I suggest a simple desk job. and Not at one where you have to take phone calls 24/7. Emotional mood swings plus dealing with people on the phone.. not a good idea. thats why one of my friends had to leave her job. it was getting to much for her to handle.

I would get a job now if possible. That way you can maybe get insurance or maternity leave. Plus, if you need to go back to work after the baby is born you've got a job. Happy Pregnancy!!

If they accept you to the job take it...you have an entire nine months to decide if you are goin to stay or not.. do you plan to not work at all after the baby is born? if you plan on returning to work your job can not fire you for going on pregnancy leave its illegal. theres a family leave and medical act. you get 3 months. and your partner also has the same thing. both men and woman are allowed paternity leave. take the job . dont tell them you are pregnant until after your probabtionary period is over.
