What is holding???

When i was in the nursery at my church the adult i was with sayed that the 9mth old was holding

I've never heard that! You should have asked her to expain what she meant!

i have no idea either you should just ask her what she ment by that.. i have heard holding as meaning with child but not a 9 month old
