Good day to whom ever reads this and thank you for whom ever answers it. I just had a baby boy; We are thrilled and happy for our son, but my wife is retaining A LOT of water, and she is sad. She is OK, doctor says so. But, she is retaining water in proportions that we have never seen; only her legs. Could someone please tell me as many diuretic drinks for I to buy for her?

Thank you.

PS. If you have any other advices I would love to hear them. Thank you all.

I have been feeding her solids since she was 5-6 months old. Find myself in a rut as to what and how much to feed... consistency of the food, and am still nursing. Going back to work in just over a month... anyone help?

Has ANYONE had any luck with them? Ours keep leaking from the lid--our son loves it because he can pour out the entire contents of his bottle onto the floor. We don't know if this is normal or if we should call the company.

My daughter used to be like clockwork. One stool a day, same time of day. Then she was constipated for 4 days. On day 4, she went. She was back on schedule for 4-5 days. Then she got diarrhea mixed in with regular stools for 2 days. Now the diarhea is gone, but she poops 2-4 times a day. It doesn't seem to bug her, but I'm worried that she'll lose weight.
This has been going on for 4 days now. Her stools are normal, just frequent. I plan on calling a Dr. on Monday, but for now, should I worry? Where can I find information? I went online to find info on "frequent stools in babies" and there's only information on diarrhea.
Thanks

Hi! I live in Palm Beach County, FL and am looking to get my daughter's ears pierced. Does anyone know of a place that specializes in infant ear piercing? Anything would be helpful... even a recomendation from a place that doesn't specialize in infants that you had a nice experience with. Thank you!

We are having a half white half black baby boy. We want something unique, but not ghetto. And something people can pronounce. Please tell me which you like the best and why. (I am due in two weeks, not much time left to decide) My name is Crystal and the father's name is Joseph. He has 3 kids that are all named Jo-something and he want's to do that with our son too, but I don't want to.
Here's what we have...

Cantrell (can-ta-rail)
Jomari (Joe-mar-e)
Javontae (Ja-von-tay)
Deontae (Dee-on-tay)
Taelaun (Tay-lawn)
Orian (Oh-ryan) (My little brother's name, but he goes by Rian so the baby would still have his own name.)

My son's appetite seems to continually decrease - he's 4months old now, weighing 14lbs 8ozs, and has an average of 28-30ozs per day of Expressed milk. When he was younger (2months) he would happily guzzle upto 35-38ozs per day. Could this be normal. Much less comes out the other end - from after every feed to twice a week. I thought his appetite would increase as he got older. Weight gain isn't great - but he still on the 50th percentile. I heard that slowing down on milk may be a sign he's wanting solids - although hes only 19weeks - so maybe a little early still. Thoughts, opinions or experiences?

I can't get anything done at home....I try to clean the kitchen, and she crawls in and tries to grab my calves. I put her in her playpen and she Shrieks this high-pitched, blood curdling scream. I can't get all the housework done while she is taking her naps.

Is this just a time in her life where she is generally fussy? I don't feel like she should be "disciplined" for what she is doing, because she isn't doing it intentionally.

She also hates being put into her crib at bedtime. She screams like crazy. I go in maybe every 10 minutes to check if she is okay, but don't do it just because she is crying.

Is this just a stage? I don't want to spoil her, and I don't want to punish for something she doesn't understand either.

Thanks for your help.

The answer is probably obvious...She lets out this ear piercing SHRIEK when I hold her down. She flips over 10 times, and someday, she will slam her foot down into her dirty diaper. HELP!

My baby recently had some minor illness which cause him to have diarrhea, it stopped for about a week and has now came back. I took him to the doctor before because he had some blood in his stool, but now it's plain regular diarrhea, he's got diaper rash really bad and the nurse at the doctors office doesn't seem to care? What can I do to atleast try and help the diaper rash, you can tell it hurts him? (also, he's nor dehydrated from the diarrhea and it seems to come and go, but he's going like 4 or 5 times a day - not always diarrhea-- when it use to be once or twice a day) HELPP!
