Since i have started using similac alimentum i have found my cat licking the top of the can that has formula on it and licking the scoop if it is left out(yes i wash it after that) but i have never heard of cats liking formula,and mine never did till this new kind.any one else have this problem?

My dog like the taste of lotion, we have to lock her up when I put it on or she won't leave me alone..... critters are strange.

My son was put on similac alimentum. We went to my mom's house and her cat wouldn't leave my son's bottle alone. He too drank it. I don't know why.

cats do like formula. i raised a kitten on it.When my son was a baby, if he had left over formula in his bottle, i poured it in the kitty's bowl. It turned out to be a big cat. lol

Cats like milk products; especially those that are like mother's milk. Haven't you ever seen a cat curl up on a pregnant woman's breasts?

cats like breastmilk too. when i would give my son a bottle of breastmilk whatever was left over i would pour in my cats dish and they lapped it right up. didn't bother me but my stepdad was mad. but cats do like formula i have heard that one before.
