Daddy, what in the heck, you are jealous of your infant baby laying down eating knowing that a baby can't sit or eat alone , unlike an adult. C-mon dad you are a parent of a baby, don't be a baby yourself, and I don't find it bad manners lying down to eat, I find it healthwise very unsafe due to the fact that you can choke or food does not pass as well as to sitting straight up. Are you doing this cuz you are jealous of the little one, cuz let me tell you, my hubby was sooooo jealous of our twins, he became the baby. LOL

When you begin to lactate and become the sole source of a newborn's nutrition, you will see that you and the baby both need to be in a very relaxed, comfortable position.
Until then, don't pick on your wife, as she is probably very fragile at this time.
Not only would my husband have NEVER said anything like that because it never crossed his mind to think that way, but he knew he'd get a foot up his *** if he did.
I'm so blessed to have a good man. Sometimes it surprises me how you guys think.

infants can not hold their heads or sit up that makes the mothers feed them by laying down in her arms or the bad that gives a big relief to her back.as baby grows up he can hold up his head and eventually will find himself sitting and eating. for grown babys or adults laying down lowers the digestive system also ending up in the heart burn. and i'm shure in a pretty big mess

Newborn babies can't sit up and need to lay down to eat!!! I think you need to grow up pretty fast if you've just become a new dad!!!

Not everything in this world is about YOU!!!!

Nothing is wrong as long as you're on a liquid diet like baby and spill no crumbs for her to pick up!
