My friends baby snorts a lot...like a little piggie! He is only 2 weeks old but I think it's a bit weird. He does it a lot when he is eating or crying. Is this normal?

My 15 month daughter is watched by my neighbor lady about 20 hrs/week while I'm working at our buiness with my husband. She has watched her since 6 weeks and she is awesome. She is one house away, so I walk her down. My daughter absolutely loves her and gets so excited to see her. Is it ok for her to not be around other children yet? I have thought about a daycare center, but I'm so happy with the way things are. She gets to see and play with cousins quite a bit. Just looking for some advice.

My daughter is 15 months old. I'm very new to all this baby stuff and think I have done pretty well for being 31 and the first time around a baby. I'm a little nervous about potty training. When do you start and how? What kind of potty chair do you get? I have no clue!

Do they expire? I bought a box of size 3 and on the plastic that they were sealed in, there was a sticker that says that they expire on 12/31/06. What?!?!?! I'm confused!

My baby is 6 months old, I started her on cereal and fruits and veggies about a month ago. I can't notice it by just looking at her but I notice it in all her recent pictures. She is almost sitting up all by herself and I want to take her to get her pictures done professionally soon, I just don't want her nose to look orange in them. Iv'e tried limiting her carrots and other orange colored foods but her nose still looks orange. Has anybody experienced this problem and if so what should I do?

Then, how does adoptive parents adopt children into their homes and love them as their own? Raise them with love and care and bond with them? We have been over the oxytocin thing a billion times and honestly, It's just a hormone. ALL mothers experience it after birth. Can you please provide credible links that we are incapable of deep bonds with our children and love for them? I am DYING to see this with my pown two eyes from a CREDIBLE study, not just some LLL propaganda. This I will ignore and discredit immediately, so waste not your time. My friend was unable to have babies, and she adopted a little Cambodian girl, and since the girl was on NAN formula, that's what she ordered by the case and fed her until she was one. They are as bonded and loving as any mother and daughter can be...maybe more so, since Adela was so wanted by my friend cause she couldn't have her own babies. It seems some of you just want to feel superior. I have nothing against any of you. Can you just prove this?

My son holds his breath when crying at least 5 times a day. He turns blue, his eyes roll back in his head, and then out of NOWHERE he stops, gets this glazed look on his face and then just stares, lets the air seep out of his little mouth and slowly "reboots" his system. His ped says "So he's more of a Mac than a PC...he'll grow out of it." My concern is that he's crying so hard he's breaking blood vessels in his eyes!

My daughter had spells like this, but she was older...like at least a year old! He's so tiny!

someone told us that you should not put the old on the new. Our baby eats good, but she takes a while to eat, she might only eat 2 oz then 30mins later she is hungry again, we were told to wait 2 hrs before we feed her again, no matter how much she ate.
