being that she is so young...it shouldn't be a problem to just lay her down. if she falls asleep right away great but if she crys let her cry for a few and see if she doesn't just fall asleep on her own. it may be hard on you but just remember that as long as she is not hungry or dirty its ok to let cry it out. my boys both took about a week to get used to their beds alone. there was alot of sleepless worried nights on my end but pretty soon i realized they were safer in their own beds anyways. thousands of babies are hurt or killed each year due to parents unintentionally rolling over on their child. so a few days of a fussy baby is worth it in the long run.... and if all eles fails make your husband be the bad guy and put her down so you don't get your feelings hurt : )

Just set up a baby monitor and if you would like you can go check on her. She really does need to be in her own bed. I know I let my daughter sleep in my room but she was in a bassinet and I slowly moved her closer and closer to her room (this was for me not for her) I kept checking on her constantly to make sure that she was still there and didn't disappear. You'll be fine and I'm sure she'll love her new room.

You can set up a cot in her room for the first few nights (provided your husband doesn't mind) and you can stay with her.
Then make sure you have a good baby monitor. That way you will still hear when she wakes up and needs you.
Be strong! You can do it!

Get you a Fisher-Price (or other brand...) Baby Monitor.
It is like a radio. You can carry the receiver around with you and hear everything that is going on in the room.

get a baby monitor. If you sleep like I do then any sound your daughter makes will wake you up. Its like maternal radar or something.

If your daughter does not like the change, it is too early to move her out, and it will give her and you loads of grief if you move her anyway. No matter what the experts say.

Sleep with her in her new environment. As soon as she gets used to it, you can go back to your own room.
