My son is 2. Ever since he was born, I have felt empty. My friend recently had a child and I found myself jealous of her being pregnant!!! I do want another child, but I am not the jealous type. I feel empty and I am sad because I cant have another one right now. HOW DO I GET OVER FEELING LIKE THIS? I love my son...i truly do... and I hate feeling like i have someone elses brain. I need some advice. Thanks in advance!

Ok, so I've read up on what some people say is good to write in baby shower thank you cards. My problem is that I don't know who gave me what. My mother threw the shower, and there were only people from her job that I've never met! I know it's very thoughtful of them to buy something for someone they never met... but how do I actually thank them? Please help!

Okay..I've been getting MANY conflicting answers to this question and I'm curious as to what you think about this.

Some people say not to use baby lotion after a baby's bath, and some people swear by it. What are your thoughts on this?

GAVE BIRTH: Angela Birmingham
DATE: March 3, 2006 (yes it took Angela monthes to get around to ordering the announcements,so sue her)
WEIGHT: Baby's:7pounds,12 onunces Mom"s let's see she's eating 500 extra cal. a day for breastfeeding, plus half a pound of chocolate to stay awake and all the lasagna her friends can cook,you do the math!
EYES: baby's: blue Mom's: bloodshot
HAIR: baby's: brown Mom's: unwashed since last tuesday
Length: Practically forever-at least 26 hours of labor,plus 3 hours of pushing. And that's not counting the eight visits to the hospital the week before, when we thought it was labor and turned out to be braxton-hicks, or the half hour after the baby came out, when her OB kept doing something down there that are best not thought about....... Oh, the baby was 21inches
SEX: never again and the baby is a boy

While registering for my baby shower, I noticed that different nipples had different "flows." As in "medium flow." Are there certain ages where these different nipples are useful? Do you start off with a slow flowing nipple, then graduate to a heavier flowing nipple?

My name is on the invitation for helping to give the shower. I didn't know it would be. I feel cheap. I have no money to chip in, but would like to do something. Any creative ideas? I'm thinking about making her a scrapbook of tips from those who attend the shower. Another idea is to write my impending niece a journal. I don't know. Any ideas would be much appreciated. I have an 8 month old son, since the day he was born, I simply love the way he smells. Beats whatever perfume my wife has. Now I look like an idiot for smelling him all the time, whether he took a bath or not.

He had this a few weeks ago and it went away after a few days. It seems to get really red sometimes(not any specific time) and then gets lighter. I don't think it itches him. It feels and looks a little scaly but I don't know. He has an appt coming up and I will tell Dr. I was just wondering what ideas you had
