I loved the Johnny Jumper. My son absolutely loved this great invention. I would place him in there while I would cook dinner and he would just bounce and entertain himself. He would even begin playing peekaboo by moving the jumper behind a wall and coming around the corner laughing. He is now too big for the
jumper.

my son loved it....and he didn't once get hurt.

The stupid re-call had to do with the spring 'breaking' and having your child crash to the ground.

I bought a Johnny Jumper at a yard sale, only to find out that it was on the recall list. While the "repair" had been performed, I found it kind of rediculous that anyone could over-stretch the spring, -enough to weaken it, only to find that your 14 lb child was the one to actually break it and crash to the ground!!

My Johnny Jumper was never really used, - the door frames were too narrow (they baby would bang against the door frames too easily), and therefore really missed the opportunity for any of our twins to enjoy it.

Otherwise, they got their exercise in other ways, but MY twin sister's boy enjoyed it very much 15 years ago.

I heard that a while ago too. But they are still on the shelf. I used one with my first child, but think im going to buy the fisher price one the other person was talking about for my second. I just feel safer. Im not saying anything is wrong with the johnny jumpers, but something must have happened.

My nephew used his constanting. He would fall aleep in the Johnny Jumper and then he would wake up and realize the he was not jumping nad he would start jumping again. I am not sure if they are still being recalled but if you do not leave the child alone in the seat I am sure they would be fine

Owned it, loved it passed it on to another mom to share the joy. Such a simple form of entertainment for children. My daughter LOVED to jump in the bathroom doorway while i showered. Or in the living room doorway while i folded laundry. Get the gift for your friend. You'll both be happy with it one day when you go over to gab and the baby is bouncing away instead of sitting on your friends lap trying to grab her spoon or plate or cup. LoL.

HAPPY FRIDAY!

My son loved his , he's 15 now but, I have a 5 month old and he loves his. It is new kind with a tray in the front and a little sturdier than the old ones. He is so chunky that he is almost on the floor but still loves it.

My girls LOVED theirs!! I even moved it outside to my swing frame and let her play on it outside. She played in it until she could no longer fit! I didnt know about the recall. BUT, if you dont feel its safe, buy her one of the ones that has its own frame...they work just as well, and can go anywhere!!

I don't think I could have lived without my Jonny Jumper. I never had any problems and used the same one for my 3 girls. They loved it.

I used one a couple of years ago with my daughter.
We didn't have any problems with it and she loved it!
Fisher price has one that is in a stand like a swing and it's really safe.
