Your baby NEEDS formula or breastmilk until he is one year old. There are essiential vitamins and minerals only in those two things that a baby must have to grow healthy and strong. And they help his brain develope. Not to mention that cow's milk (which is the same as evaporated milk) is not good for a baby's tummy at all, and can cause allergies to milk later in life. So, NO....only formula or breast milk!!!

Probably not. Many adults today were raised on some concoction with evaporated milk. But it certainly *won't* help her/him, and the potential for harm is there. It *could* cause allergies or asthma (even just *one* serving), both of which can be life-threatening.

Babies shouldn't have *any* dairy products until the age of 1 year--longer if there's a history of food allergy in the family. As I said, it *probably* won't hurt, but why risk it?!

Everyone is right. Baby does need formula till they are a year. BUT can milk is what moms used to give there babies before formula. 1 time wont hurt but dont continue to do it.

i'm no expert but when i was a baby for a brief period i had tummy problems and my mother said that she had to give me evaporated milk until i could handle the formula... i wouldn't suggest only evaporated milk... the formula is essential..

yes, God made cows milk for baby cows and breastmilk for babies. IF you can't breastfeed then give him formula, but only if, even formula has stuff in it that can harm your baby, just look it up online at the studies theyve done.

no it wont, my husband accidently confused some with the formula and gave to our son and i called the pediatrician and she said that's what people used to do before they came out with formula. but continuing to use it will make it one fat baby!
