You can use frozen vegetable frozen fries frozen pretzels
just about any frozen food that is bigger than the length of your index finger my kids both enjoyed the frozen carrot sticks. you can also rub the liquid pain reliever (Tylenol, aspirin or whatever pain med you use) directly on the gums. It just the same as if an adult had a tooth ache some people hold an aspirin on the tooth it works just the same for baby with infant and toddler pain med. I think it works a little better than teething gels cause it won't numb the mouth and agitate the baby. Good Luck And Congrats on the baby.

If a cold teething ring or wash cloth doesn't soothe them, then you can purchase Teething Tablets at most grocery stores. They are herbal, all you do is take 3 or 4 small tablets and stick them under your babies tongue, it numbs their mouth. or you can just use baby orajel, or infant Tylenol. But check with your Pediatrician first.

Don't know if they still exist, but there were such as athing as a Teething ring. They are filled with water and you put them in the freezer to freeze the water in them. Then give them to baby to chew on. Worked wonders for my little ones.

A wet wash cloth, a teething ring, or some baby orejel. My son didn't like that orejel stuff though so I went with the wash cloth and teething ring.

I have been using Baby Orajel on my teething daughter, and it works wonders. At first it numbs and she doesn't really like that. But give it 5 minutes and she is asleep!

HYLANDS HYLANDS HYLANDS
I cannot reccomend those enough, you'd find them in the vitamin asile at Wal-Mart, near the kiddie vitamins. They are homeopatic so they are 100% safe (provided the baby isn't allergic to lactose...found in breastmilk if you consume dairy so you'd know). One night my son woke up in a FIT due to teething we tried EVERYTHING I finally found the Hylands and popped 2 in his mouth...within 30 seconds he was nursing and asleep within 2 minutes. Love them.

Freeze a bottle of water upside down so the water fills the nipple. Let him suck on the bottle, -gives him a little drink and soothes the gums.
