I went to the doctor yesterday because I had a fever , flu like symtoms, and I was cramping a little bit. And im 5 weeks pregnant. The doctor sent me to the emergency room, when I finally got in they did ultrasounds the vaginal one and the regular one and all they saw was an eggsac. so the doctor told me I could be about to misscary sinse they didnt see the embryo inside the eggsac... but then he told me it might be to early to see the embryo because Im only 5weeks so is he just leading me on so i would have hope because I dont want to think there is a chance and then i really misscairage , and feel bad all over again..
And they also said I have a bladder infection could that be why Im cramping?

I am in my 36th week
2 weeks ago, i lost my plug twice in a four day span, no blood
last two weeks, very loose stools
today, i have cramping, lose stools and i puked, a lot

what does this all mean??

My son was two days late when he was born. And this little girl was due on December 27, 2007. I have been having off and on contractions for about 6 weeks now, but they have been mostly Braxton Hicks and not at all regular. And for the first night in i don't know how long i actually got a good night of sleep last night. So what do you think? Do you think that labor will start today...since i am 2 days over due, or what?

Hes been sick for the past month and in the last week wont eat his stage 2 or stage 3 food( has been on solids for 4 months). his had fevers and last week started with a cold. He used to eat 4 jars a day. he only eats enough formula to get by. what do i do? i know hes hungry.

im 38 weeks pregnant with my first baby im very impatient now but also very uncomfortable, the top of my stomach is very sore and itchy off the skin stretching where my baby has dropped and im getting contractions every day there is just no pattern to them they start then there is nothing im so fed up now is there anything i can do to make my little boy arrive i feel so down and unhappy right now because of how uncomfortable i am. i see my consultant on wednesday do you think they will do anything i also keep getting a swollen face and feet but my blod pressure is always fine please some 1 help

This is my second child. I was due on December 27, 2007. My son was born two days past my due date, so for this baby I'm hoping for the same. But I have not noticed losing my mucus plug yet. Is there a possibility that i have lost it and didn't realize because this is my second child or what's going on? I'm so ready for her to come out of me...but to me it seems like she is just as stubborn as her brother. Please help.

I am not trying to be picky or anything but i am extremely young and wanting to adopt. But i want it to look as if its my own child. As far as age goes.... Ive been told that they dont ever get babies to adopt. Is that everywhere?

My kids put a toy in the toilet and the water won't go down. We took the toilet off the base and the pipes are clear, so whatever it was is stuck in the actual toilet. Any advice on how to get it out? We tried this thing we got from Lowes you use to unstop toilets and a wire clothes hanger, but we can't get it out.

Don't you think some parents should think about what they name their babies? Who wants to be 18 and be called Peaches or Precious or something. Also doesn't names like that just sound crazed?

She's had a cold for over a week..she's not sleeping well and due to MY lack of sleep I'm getting impatient and it's not her fault...I know.
My question is how to keep her happy and busy throughout the day. I can't take the constant whining and crying and my back is killing me- she wants to be held (and walked around) she's not happy just sitting with me on the couch or playing on the floor/carpet.
What other ideas do you have?

My sister-in-law is 5 months pregnant, this is possibly going to be their last child so they wanted it to be a surprise and not find out the sex. She has decided to name the child both my choice for girls and boys names when it is born. When I told her it upset me, she replied with well you aren't pregnant yet. Now I get that, but the names my fiance and i have chosen are his family names, names that are not negotiable because of generations of his family naming children in this manner (after the great-grandparents) and I don't want to break his family tradition. I told her we are still naming our kids the same names which I think is unfair to the kids but my fiance and I cannot, for respect of his family, change the names of our first born son and daughter. So now, no matter what the baby's sex is, she will be taking one of our names. My parents will have grandchildren with the same names. I think she is being totally sellfish, I am trying to be accepting of this but I'm hurt.

My daughter is 2 1/2 yo. I had her when I had just turned 21. I went into preterm labor with her at 31 weeks, i was dialated 1 cm, and 80% effaced. I was put on bedrest by my dr, who by the way was (not my dr anymore) an od, not md. Doctor of osteopathy sp. not medical dr, there is a difference. So I had all the drugs and steroids to stop labor and mature her lungs. I went 1 1/2 week overdue, so then I was induced at 41 1/2 weeks, with a string with medicine to soften everything, and basically make me raw, that went on for 12 hours, just made me have extremely bad period like cramps. then they brought on the pitocin, which did nothing but raise me out of the bed screaming. In between the 15-18 hours of all of this taking place my husbands entire family was shuffleing in and out of the room every 2 secs, like I was a frickin display. It was their first grandbaby, so they thought they had the right. I was asking for the pain meds as soon as i could get them every hour

the mother has a court date comming up and she will be put in jail and this is not the first offense so would he be wrong if he got her now and just didnt take her back i witnessed the child high her mother is young and she just dont care we have a birth certificate what else should we get.

My cycles are usually 28/29 days. Four days before my period I had some light bleeding, not enough for a tampon for three days. Prior to that I had light pink bleeding, only when I wiped for two days. Now 17 days later I start my period and I am passing large clots. Those three days I had bleeding I didn't have cramps, now I do, but not really bad. Do you think I had a misscarriage?
