Im 38 weeks to this is my 4rth and finla baby!! Knock on wood lol i share your discomforts but your baby needs these last 2 weeks our baby now gains about a pound a week and is developing rapidly hell ome when hes ready as for the itchy skin exfoliate daily get a good loofah and bodywash than put on a good moisturizer i like cocoa butter oilve oil and coconut oil all pure products they work great and because they are pure and undilluted like lotions they moisturize much better and longer great for stretchmarks For the swollen hands and feet ahhh it drives me crazy too they feel like there going to fall off from lack of circulation to releive this pain i apply lotion(i use olive oil cocoa buuter or coconut oil) generously to my feet and hands before bed than i put on socks and gloves to lock in moisture for some reason in the morning my hands and feet feel so good We all get swollen the last month Email me if youd like to vent some more plus i have great stretch mark remedies good luck hey whens your due date i bet were real close!! mine the 8th

Yeah, you're perfectly normal!! Try using lotions for the dryskin. The braxton hicks contractions are completely normal, and a pain in the butt (and everywhere else). If you are that swollen up, watch your sodium intake. Sounds like you are retaining water. Try drinking more water (I know it's hard with Junior using your bladder as a trampoline) and eating less salt. Try elevating your feet for 20 minutes or so in the middle of the day so the swelling drains back up. I had the same problem, but it will be over soon and you can have a whole new set of things to complain about.

My doctor said they won't induce me unless absolutely necessary and only after 42 weeks! I'm 39 weeks, 5 days and I'm so DONE with this pregnancy right now. I'm ready to go. I'm accepting my fate (the pain) and want to see the baby. I tried a lot of the induction techniques (sex, walking, driving on a bumpy road, spicy food) and nothing has worked for me so far, so I really think it's when the baby is ready and there's not much we can do naturally to speed it up.

Drink lots of water and keep your feet up- that really helped with the swelling in my legs and feet. There's nothing you can do about your face- I was so sad when my face got round- I even think I have a double chin now- but my friend who just had a baby said your face goes back to normal very soon after the baby- it's just water retention. This might also help with the dry skin. Water and lotion for that.

Hang in there. It sucks, I know. I'm right there with you.

Im with you! I am also 38 weeks with a boy! and ready to be done. My contractions are everyday as well and when i last went to the doctor the put me on a monitor and my contractions were coming every 10 min. then the next day it would be maybe one an hour. Its frustrating I know...I go back on Wednesday as well! Good luck!

You're at the end, and they wont you go past 42 weeks so there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I know how uncomfortable it is, but the baby will come when it's time. Just hang in there, it could be today or a few weeks, but it's almost over.
