Proper names are spelled and pronounced any way the parents choose. That's why we have so many variations of the same names.

with Ishaan you would carry the "a" for two beats and the empasis would be on the second syllable whereas with Ishan the emphasis would be on the first

I believe so actually... this convo came up a yr ago or so when two ladies in my shop getting their hair done were talking about baby names.... they were gonna pronounce it Eshawn... but she said she wanted to spell it ishaan with a long a.... but i think its just preference on how u wanna spell it urself... cause my name is spell like 4 different ways.. but all same sound...

Just from looking at it I would say ISHAN is pronounced I - SHAN. Whereas as ISHAAN is pronounced E-SHAAN. Shan and Shaan are pronounced the same. It's just the beginning part of the name that would be pronouned differently.

i think yes because the only thing thats not desame is th one name has a double A now i say yes to your question.
