It could mean labor is near, or it could mean you just aren't feeling well. There is absolutely no predicting what is going to happen or when labor will begin. Sorry that's not the answer you are wanting to hear, but if anyone tells you "Labor will definitely start soon!" they are just trying to make you feel better. Nobody knows. Not even your doctor.

Good luck to you, hope you feel better. Call your doc if you continue to be sick with diarrhea and vomiting. You could be getting dehydrated.

Your preparing to deliver. Check with your doctor, Drink lots of water no matter what they say at the hospital, call a Dulah or labor assistant and check with them. If you were in Vegas I'd say call my wife who is an awesome labor assistant. ]
This is exciting, Your going to have a baby soon! Don't panic and labor for as long as you can at home. Time your contractions and head to the hospital when they are about two to three minutes apart. Try to go natural as long as you can. Babies who have been born with Epidurals tend to be Stoned ( lethargic and non responsive)
all the best to you and your husband. May God bless your new addition and your family in the future.

I thing that your early labor contractions should start soon. I think you should distract yourself ( go to lunch with friends, see a movie, etc.) what the best is grab a friend and go shopping at a mall that way you get some walking in which will include labor. You want to stay outta the hospital until active labor so you don't get stuck in an assement room. So be as productive as possible.

I was dilated to 2 and 100% effaced with no plug for 2 weeks before going into labor. It could be days or weeks. You're almost there, good luck.

It sounds like you could be going into labor... just be patient and try to relax. get some rest because you will be very tired later.
