i just recently got over a bad break up and an abortion i didnt want. i was drinking with another guy and on my period still we had sex twice shortly after the first time i put a tampon in and then we had sex again. could i be pregnant...i think i am i have all the signs constipation bloating nausea headaches food diversions and cravings swollen and tender breast and im late...

I am 41 days late for my period. I am always right on time. I took the Plan B pill two weeks after my period, and now i'm a month and bit late. Ive taken 8 preg tests and they are all "neg", could i still be preg?

and he is 4 they had his sence he was 3 months old, he is a great kid very smart and nothing wrong with him. the reason i desided to ask them to adopt my son was because i felt i wasnt ready to care for a baby i also had manic postpardom, and was diginosed with really bad bipolar disorder, so i felt caring for the baby at that time wasnt right for me, they agreed, well he is now 4 years old and is learn mom and dad my parents dont teach him that they are grandpa and grandma, so he calls them mom and dad. ive asked my parents to plz stop and to teach him they pretty much told me that i am no longer his mother and to just wait till him is older to learn that, im very depressed about this and i dont get to see him much, what should i do? or what do you think about this?

I am a stay-at-home-mom with two children--ages 2 years and 6 months. We are involved in various activities with other moms and young children such as play group, story time at the library, Early Childhood Family Education, etc. I have made great friends with the other moms, but have recently become very agitated by other people's kids! I'm not bugged by all kids, but enough kids from different families that I realize I need to figure out a way to deal with my irritation! I love being able to be at home with my kids and am happy to have them involved in different activities. I just find myself dreading being around other young children!!! I could complain about various "bad" behaviors and lack of intervention by parents (my friends!), but I realize that I can't change other people and need to find a way to cope! Anyone else struggle with this and have any good advice?

As an adoptee - I know how profoundly the loss of mother affects one, throughout many stages of life. I wouldn't wish this on ANYONE. As a child I was so lonely for her, but I kept my hurt hidden and many people probably would have used me as an example of a kid who was happy being adopted.

As a mother I can't imagine how I would go through life without my baby. I am the only one who can really intuit exactly what he needs. My body provides him with just the right nutrients for his growing body. I am the one who can calm him just by holding him in my arms.

I've learned how inexpensive babies really can be - I reasearched the benefits of breastfeeding, co-sleeping and cloth diapering and found them to be the best parenting choices I could make. It also happens they are very inexpensive. Perhaps the best things in life really are free.

Do mothers underestimate how utterly important they are to their babies? Why don't they understand that STUFF is no substitute for themselves?

i've posted a similar question before about this. i was making myself throw up for about a week, a month or so ago. now i have started it again. it really has become addicting. i have thrown up 4 times just today. and my dad actually heard me the 4th time, and confronted me about it. i know it has become a problem. usually i only did it when i felt fat. but now its become a routine, and i binge, then i throw it up. do you have any advice for me, please? i really don't want to do this anymore, but is it really that simple?


(i can't really tell anyone. i'm really ashamed of it)

An average healthy couple having regular sex only has a 20-30% chance of becoming pregnant each month. By do you think that is?

What I mean is, what kind of scientific reason could there be for human beings to have evolved like that? Evolution is supposed to increase the chances of survival for your species, but if it's so difficult to reproduce this doesn't seem to be true. What are your thoughts??

I would like to buy a few things for a family that's had some bad luck. However, I have never seen the children, only photos of them, and don't know their weights, only their ages. Can those of you who have kids this age give me an idea of what sizes I should get? My kids are grown and I can't remember how children's sizing goes. I'll be buying pull-over hoodies. The boys are ages 6, 10 and almost 13. They look to be of average weight and height. Thank you very much! Oh, and, if you know of small toys or gadgets that boys those ages might like I'd appreciate any input.

my 6 mo old is getting more shots tomorrow and with all the parents bad mouthing shots lately... even though I had my 5 other kids vaccinated it makes me wonder why lately parents are so against shots .
I dont do the flu shot, or chicken pox. He already started the other shots. Should you really worry ? are they safe or not ?

We recently had a miscarriage and D&C (last week) and will be trying again as soon as we are emotionally and physically ready. I do have to wait till after my next period as per doctor's orders, but am just wondering if I should still be taking my prenatal vitamins? I just recently took a clearblue pregnancy test and it showed up as a solid more darker line, and then it also had a very faint line. So two lines.

have you ever been out to eat and have another person come to your table and ask you very meanly to shut your dam n kid up?this happen to us. eatting at a diner not lie a fancy place just a familey diner. anyway this old guy comes up and tells my mother in law to shut that damn kid up and spits on my bf nieces food it wa s realy gross . like spit flying all over the place. so my mom inlaw tells him to go sit back down and that hes just a toddler learning his voice. well the guy like i have a muscle problem shut that kid up NOW. then my mom inlaw goes i am sick too and if you are that ill you should stay home by now my bf niece who is 12 is scared i told her not to pay attion to it. so we eat our meal and just try to ignore this familey.
so i go to take our son out to the car while i am doing that i find out this guy chase down my bf mom and says more stuff to her . so
i am wondering have any one else have anything like this happen to you? or how to deal with people like this ?

I have a daughter who is 17 years old. She was recently raped, which has been terrible for everyone in the family.

Unfortunately, we've just learned that she's now pregnant from the rape. She has expressed a desire to get an abortion. We are highly against that in this family. I have told her in no uncertain terms that if she gets an abortion, she will have to leave our home.

She is 17 years old, so she's almost 18 anyway. Is there a way for me to legally kick her out of my house? I know there's such a thing as an emancipated minor, but I don't want to get myself in trouble here either.

In desperate need of advice. My husband and I are expecting our third child, a boy, in no more than 8 DAYS!!! And we have yet to settle on a name. Our first child is a girl, Kylie. Our second child is a boy, Daegan (day-ghun). Now we are having our third, another boy, and can't figure out a name. We have several names that we "like" but nothing we are really emotionally attached to. I know when we meet our son any name we choose will eventually create a sense of emotional attachment to our son and be great-- but we would like an original name and great advice of FULL names. I want our son's full name to flow well together. Can anyone make a good combo out of the following or have any other suggestions? Thanks!

My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship and have been for nearly 3 years. However, in February we wont be long distance anymore. I'm staying in a hall of residence for university (which is sort of like a college dorm) and he'll be living at home. I'm 18 and he's 19.

In about June next year his parents are going overseas for a holiday and they were planning on taking my boyfriend's younger brother (he's my age). Then we would have had his house to ourselves for a week.

Well change of plans, and his brother isn't going anymore! Which we're pretty bummed about. We're trying to work out how we can have a bit of time to ourselves (not to bonk each other stupid lol, but because we havn't been able to spend time together alone in a long time).

Any sensible suggestions how we can get rid of his brother for a night or two?

Neither of us have our licence and money isn't really an issue.
