An average healthy couple having regular sex only has a 20-30% chance of becoming pregnant each month. By do you think that is?

What I mean is, what kind of scientific reason could there be for human beings to have evolved like that? Evolution is supposed to increase the chances of survival for your species, but if it's so difficult to reproduce this doesn't seem to be true. What are your thoughts??

I'm sorry, I meant to ask. "Why" do you think that is?

I suppose you would, what do you believe? A mythological creature just dropped us onto Earth?

It's pretty low when you look at how easily other mammals can reproduce.

I don't think a 20-30% chance EVERY month is very low. It's actually pretty high, considering how many humans are having unprotected sex every month. Thank goodness it's not higher. As many unwanted children and abortions are happening every day, there would be tons more if the chances were higher.

What are the chances of other mammals becoming pregnant each month?

I look at it differently I guess, I see it as if every women/girl who wanted a baby and got pg the same month. Are planet would so over populated. I mean it already is. I think god has a plan for each individual so yes it might take a year but that's where you fit in the cycle. that's my thought on it.

I personally believe it's so that we as women will truly appreciate what a gift becoming pregnant is, if it was too easy, and no one had to work for it, it would be taken for granted.

But scientifically i don't know, i guess because our hormones change when we ovulate, and if we ovulated every day boy would we have a mess of hormonal women around lol.

You'd have to believe in evolution to really answer this, wouldn't you.
