I have heard that there are certain vitamins and nutrients that you can make sure to get while pregnant that will increase a baby's chances of having certain desired features when they are born, such as long eyelashes, thick hair, and other characteristics. Does anyone know a reliable source from which I could get specific information on this? Thanks a lot!

I think this is the dumbest assignment I've ever been given! I go to a Catholic school and, every once in a while, the parish pastor comes and gives classes an assignment. My class's assignment is to plan our own funeral! We have to choose who will be lectors, who will be our poll bearers, what songs will be sung, and we have to PREDICT WHAT DAY WE WILL DIE and WRITE OUR OWN EULOGY!! (You'd have to be extremely self-centered to write your own eulogy.) I really don't want to do this assignment. It's depressing! What do you think? If you were given this assignment, what would you do?

My period has always been regular. Ive never missed a period and never been late. I was on birth control for 3 months and didnt have any side effects. i stopped taking it a month and a half ago and havent taken it since. i had sex the weekend after i stopped my period. today i am 12 days late on my period. i have been urinating ALOT, nauteous, tender breasts, very tired all of the time, and hungry ALL the time. certain foods that i loved b4, like pizza, make me sick and ive been craving hotdogs with mustard constantly, which has never happened b4. today i bought a Home preg test and took it late afternoon, it was negative. could i still be pregnant??? what should i do???

I am at my parents house for the night and I put the baby to sleep, but they are trying to be quiet and they are failing and I keep telling them to be a little quieter and stuff very calmly and nice, but I want to SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM, cause I do not want him to wake up. My fiance has been a widow for 4 years and now we are getting married. One of his sons is six and has a "girlfriend". They are in the same class and are BestFriends, but they call each other sweetie. I thought it was cute. Until recently.

He was invited to her birthday party and of course I said yes. Me and my fiance were going to be away that weekend and his grandmother(my fiance's mother) was in charge of the kids. Apparently the b-day party turned into a sleepover which my soon-to-be-MIL didn't know, he lied and said he was going to a friend's to sleep over. The parents said he slept right next to her. Other boys slept over. I need to end this little "relationship". My fiance agrees but doesn't know how to approach it so it's up to me. HELP!!

I love the name Ashley for a boy, just like the character in "Gone With the Wind." Yes, I know it sounds like a girl's name now, and I know he would probably be teased, but when he is all grow up into a handsome superhunk wouldn't it sound so masculine and sexy? :) After all, is it really any less masculine than "Ashton" or "Wesley"?

Hey guys. I have a three month old daughter and I guess the relationship with his parents have changed. There has been two times while we were over at their house I asked to have my daughter and change her because she was dirty. She told me no and that the baby could go the bathroom again in them.. I was upset and my husband didn't say anything or stick up for me.

Then I guess when my daughter is over there, she is always sick, either an upset tummy or a stuffy nose.. but she is never sick or anything with me. She put Adults Vicks on my daughter and that upset me I asked her not to and she said that she is going to do it anyway. Again, my husband wasn't sticking up for me again, then we went over there a few days later and let her have the baby over night and when we came to pick her up she said that she again put vicks on the baby!! but this time she got baby vicks.
