Doesn't matter because there will never be a drug like that. The sex of the baby is determined immediately upon conception and cannot be changed. It just depends if the sperm is carrying an x or a y chromosome.

I am still at a lose that when new technology comes out, women want to get in line and try it out.
When breast enhancements were introduced, women of all races and classes decided that this was the thing to do. Well they went out and had their breast enlarged.
Ten years or so later it was found out that the things that enlarged breast leaked and in some cases caused cancer.
Now after that great discovery all the women that got this enhancement wanted to sue the doctors and the company that made these things that enhanced the breast.
Now you want to propose a drug that will determine the sex of your child before you even have sex and conceive. What is gonna happen if what you wanted is not what you got.
Oh I know lots of lawsuits and court cases.
Why do man/woman always want to try and change human nature to suit them. I suppose it is inborn in us to be adventuresome and experiment.
Cosmetic surgery is another, there is a recent death of Kenye West's mother because she wanted to enhanced certain parts of her body that will as time go along not look as good as we did when we were twenty-one.
The firmness leave, a few things start to sag, but that is nature, you are mature, your hair get grey this is how we know our elders and can seek advice from them.
I would not want my spouse or S/O to take any drug that might have an effect on my child and certainly not one to determine the sex of our child. I don't even allow her to smoke and drink when we were having children, and now a drug, oh hell nope.
Someone has already determined that for us. I am pleased with most of the decisions I did not have to make about the sex of my children.
The word drug should give you some warning that it might not be in the best interest for you. Drugs of any kind are not good, even asprin have a limit.
I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

NO don't ever in your life take drugs while you are pregnant this could brutally affect may even kill you child the only drugs you should take when your pregnant is pascription but only take pascription if your doctor recommands it. what you take in while your pegnant your child takes in. so don't do anything stupid that could hurt your child because it will hurt you mentally if you loose your child. Im only a teen but someone I know didn't take proper care of herself when she was pregnant and she loss the baby so be smart ok. And congrat's. Bless and Heart.

I don't have any children yet alhtough we are ttc but at this stage in my life I wouldn't take a pill. Whatever happens, happens and it's what nature intended.
Having said that, I do understand couple who have 4 or 5 children of the same sex who would probably think differently.

Do not interfere with nature! Man has proven it to be insane and continue to do it.
Why risk having a beautiful baby(boy or a girl) just to satisfy the greed of the company who manufactured the drug.
I'd say don't do it-you might harm what is already inside you and drugs like these will not work a hundred percent

NO, no, no and no. Not because I don't think it would be nice to be able to plan for a girl or boy, but because taking ANY drug during pregnancy is dangerous. Look at all the people damaged by Thalidomide, which was widely prescribed to prevent miscarriage!

I think I'd be really really tempted to as my hubby and I would love to have a son, but I don't know if I actually would.
Why is everyone all in an uproar about messing with nature? We mess with nature all the time. Taking a BIRTH CONTROL PILL to prevent pregnancy is just as much messing with nature as taking a pill to determine the sex of said baby is messing with nature.

I wouldn't, whatever God decides to give I think is a blessing. I'm thankful I have a boy and a girl, but I wouldn't mind having two or three of the same sex. Like I said, children are blessings, whether they are all girls or all boys.

I don't think I would take a drug just to dtermine the sex of my child. This could jack up your hormones during pregnancy, and your baby could end up with a birth defect.

God will give you what you can handle. Ihave a beautiful brown haired blue eyed 8 week old son and if I had a choice I would have had a girl, but god knew what he was doing giving me a boy. So let god do what he's gotta do and just be thankful your capable of conceiving
