Pregnancy & Parenting - 21 November 2007

Yesterday I was talking on the phone and had Severe pain in my upper pubic region. Near the spot that your undies would meet your skin and over around the front to the upper side. I called the dr and couldn't even walk myself. He had me go to the er and I did. In Labor and Deliver they couldn't find a thing wrong. It is still hurting, not as bad, today. They did give me a sleeping pill and pain med for last night. Has anyone heard of this? The nurse said I probably pulled a muscle. That isn't likely. I am so frustrated! I am 3 cm dialated for like 2-3 wks now and am just getting so sick of this. Sorry to be like this but if it's not one thing it's another. The pain was unbearable!
It just happened again! When I went to bend down to get my sons toy I almost couldn't get back up! It feels like a rubberband tugging on my skin! HELP!

I have had issue while being pregnant and want to know if their is anything I can do, or if it is normal here are the questions. When you preganant are you more likely or less likely to have yeast infections? I herd that when your pregnant you should not get them as much. I still get them often.. Also is it normal to have vaginal discharge/ wetness white/clumpy/ and clear off and on for no cause? can this discharge be different at times? Is vaginal soreness during intercoure normal? And the last one is one time I was dozzing off while performing oral sex on my husband and I am ashamed I had no control of my body being exhausted and fatigued, I am currently experiencing depression, I had been only getting 2-3 hrs of rest a night and having back pains of and on for three days it seemed like my body was shutting down, We had sex just before I started to perform oral sex, could me not getting enough rest and being overly exhausted cause sleep to start to overtake me, or should I seek help on this situation

I wanted to have a water birth but my hospital doesnt allow 1st pregnancys to do it, but i did get a compromise and they said i can labor in the tub as long as i wanted. I know this might sound silly but what do i wear? A bathing sut top and bottoms or just top.. any other differant types of clothing? what do you suggest?

Im nearly 10 weeks and i am farting like a trooper!
I never usually have gas, but for the last few weeks it has been terrible.
I keep getting pains which is trapped wind and just wondering why pregnant women get wind and trapped wind so much?

I had an ultra sound today; I am 5 weeks pregnant (7 weeks from last menstrual period). In the ultra sound there was no heartbeat of the fetus, neither any organ. In the afternoon, suddenly I had pain and bleeding. The doctor said I have to go for a blood test. I am so worried, is the fetus dead?
Is there anybody who has experienced the same thing? Did you have a normal pregnancy after?

I've had the names for my baby picked out since I was 15 (I'm 20 now). I'm very big on making the names meaningful. Such as my top boy's name is Jason Kane. How I got that name has a story of its own (I'm a big horror fan!) But the name itself mean Healing Warrior. However my mother is set on the boy's name being Reagen Kane. But I dont like that name at all! The girl's name I picked out is Carla Tracey, which is my grandmothers name and my mothers name. But my mother thinks its hould be Carlie Dawn. Which is a short for Carla and my middle name. I like to take my mom's advice but should I listen to her on this subject? I am so unsure. I dont even know the sex of the baby yet. I love the names I picked, But my mom thinks they sound too formal or old.... Please Help

Please Give me some more Ideas.... Or how I should tell my mom I am going to name them.

Hi there,

I am 16 weeks pregnant (4 mos). Since about the beginning of 3 mos along, I get sick whenever I brush my teeth. I know that with regular morning sickness, the woman gets sick every morning and it goes away by about 12 weeks. My sickness only comes on when I brush my teeth, and 4 mos later it still isn't going away... What is causing this? Anyone else ever had this problem?

My whole pregnancy i have been a good sleeper. NO problems at all! I could sleep the day away. Now im 37wks4days and i cant even get 2 hrs at night! and when i do fall asleep it seems like just the brush of air could wake me up!why is this? and is their anything i can do about it?

I took a home pg test on Fri., Sun and again today, I went to the doctors today to get my blood work done. The nurse called me back with my results, my HCG Level was 382 and my Progesterone level was 11.1! They want me to start Progesterone 300 MG Supposatory (sp?) at bed time! What do my numbers mean? I asked the nurse and all she said, was that I am pregnant and that she will see me in 2 days to have more blood drawn. I asked to talk to the doctor, however he was with a patiene and when I called back again, the office was closed! Can anyone give me any input!? I have had 4 miscarriages in the pass, so I am thinking that is why she is having me come back in to check my levels! But I still dont know what the numbers exactly mean, or the hcg level, how far along those numbers would make me! I know for sure I cant be anymore then 5 to 6 weeks, pregnant if that! What is a normal progestrone level w/ the hcg levels # being 382? any help with would be great! Thank you!

I have a 2months and 26days baby boy, he is so hyperactive, he often sleeps. in the morning he sleeps not more than 30 minutes and wake up again, he do that all the time. i feel very sleepy and stressed all the time, because of him. even at night he often sleeps. i always assure that he is full, but still he dont sleep well. he took vitamin c and food supplement with vitamin ABCD in syrup as prescribed by the doctor.
