It's very normal in the last weeks of pregnancy. I don't know...maybe our bodies are saying "get used to this because this is how it will be when the baby is born!"

But seriously, I'm a good sleeper, too but I always have difficulties at the end. My mind is full of excitement (and a little apprehension) at the coming delivery and it's harder to sleep soundly.

Plus, I'm big and uncomfortable and the strong baby movements disturb my sleep.

All I can say is hang in there and try some nighttime sleep rituals to fall asleep more soundly - lavendar and chamomile bath, warm milk, massage, 1/2 unisom tablet, etc.

All the best to you!

That's part of what is called your nesting instinct, other things that might also be happening (an its different for everybody/pregnancy) is the strong urge to scrub your entire house down, rewash all the baby blankets, clothes, repack your hospital bag. Your body instinctivly knows what it is doing, I would suggest that you get as much rest as you can, even if it is the middle of the day, try to at least get in a power nap.
Also, remember when the baby comes, the best piece of advice, sleep whenever the baby sleeps!!!
When all this happens to me, I know the baby will be here within the week =)

Good Luck

possibly you like a various pillow. A fluffier one? A flatter one? perchance no pillow in any respect. you may desire to attempt going to mattress earlier, so which you will get to sleep earlier, and then awaken earlier, and not nod off at college, and different random circumstances. additionally, attempt having some warm cocoa, or something soothing like that earlier you circulate to mattress. yet, verify you do no longer positioned too lots sugar. you additionally can attempt having a warm bathe. each and every from time to time i can't get to sleep, and if I purely threw my pillow on the floor, and fell asleep with my head laying on purely the mattress, it works. sturdy success :3

Girl I feel Ya!! I just got done complaining about my 2 hours of sleep last night. I think one reason is because we are so ready to go into labor.......another reason is that we are so big now that any little move we make in our sleep wakes us up. I talked to my doc about it and he said that it would be ok to take Tylenol PM to help me get to sleep. I haven't done it yet, because Im a chicken when it comes to taking meds while pregnant. If you come up with something that helps you, please let me know. Good luck to ya. We don't have much longer
