Just looking for what you think are good, strong, common ones. I'm expecting a boy, so the name search has begun!

There are beautiful names from the bible: James, Matthew, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Joseph, Josiah, Joshua, Samuel etc.

I gave my boys 2 of the names in that list. You can't go past the classic, traditional names. There are some lesser known ones too that sound nice (which others have already listed here).

Good luck with your little man!

The Jewish families I know keep the name close to home. Never give a baby the name of a living relative, honor a deceased relative by recycling his name. Look back into your own families a couple of generations & you'll find some names that you're surprised you've forgotten and can be respectful by reusing.
