after being off of the pill for a couple of weeks, is that too early to try to get pregnant with a reasonable amount of expectation?

or does it take a while to get pregnant once you stop taking the pill? .......mid 20s, healthy, married.

It depends on how long you have been taking it for and how your body responses to it. sometimes it just takes around 2 to 3 cycles before conceiving. For me personally it took a while I stop taking them in Jan. and I just found out a week ago I'm pregnant (9 weeks along). Good Luck and baby dust to you!

It totally depends on your body. Some women will ovulate right away and others will take a few months to get back into a normal ovulation cycle. I got pregnant 3 weeks after stopping my last pill. My doctor said some women seem to be more fertile when coming off the pill. It was an accident but I couldn't be more excited to meet my little girl. Don't worry yourself, as long as you conceive within a year you'll be in the norm. Now go have fun trying ;)

It depends on your body. I got pregnant while taking the pill. I missed a few days and that was a long enough window for me to get pregnant.

It depends on your body. It can take up to a few months. I was very lucky and conceived 3 weeks after being off the pill! You might be lucky too Goodluck...

I got pregnant on the pill and I took it religiously. Had 2 alarms that would go off for me to take it. Not sure what happened.

it sompletely depends on you and your man...with my ex, i quit taking the pill and tried for like a year and a half before i got pregnant with my daughter and then with my husband i quit taking the pill and got pregnant almost immediately, so if you are both healthy and have no problems it could happen that quickly. and , if it doesn't, don't assume it's you cause it could be him. good luck:)

My doctor told me not to even try to get pregnant for at least two months after I went off BC. He said you should wait that long to make sure it's out of your system.

I can take several months for your body to start ovulating again.

It took us 8 months to get pregnant after I went off BC.

As soon as you miss a day you can conceive, just depends on the timing of intercourse with your most fertile days. Good luck!!!
