i really like the name of Colden what do you think?

wow, the "unique baby name" trend is really getting out of hand. Does Colden even have any background meaning to it? Do you like it because you think it's "cute" and "unique"? What ever happened to giving babies strong names to grow into?

Is he cold? It's quite a nice name, but sometimes you might be asked by your son of any significance of the name. If it doesn't matter whether there is a significance of the name or not, the name Colden is likable.

It doens't do a thing for me. Makes me thing of putting something in the freezer to 'colden' it.

How about a different spelling? Coldyn? Honestly, can't say I am too thrilled with it myself ... but I do like unique names. My son and his wife are pregnant with their first child, a boy. His wife and I actually came up with a name together that we both like ... Briley ... but he refuses .. he says it sounds too much like a girl!
