I always have a 28 day cycle, so I am now 2 weeks late. I have taken 2 urine tests throughout the last 2 weeks and one qualitative blood test at around 1 week late and all were negative. I do have a doctors appt scheduled for Thursday but can not stop thinking about it. I feel pregnant, I have been so tired, exhausted for around 3 weeks now. My chest is sore, my hair is shedding, I have nausea, a wierd craving for cheese, dry skin, lower back pain, clear discharge, and am clumsier than usual but no sign of my normal period cramps. My sister tested negative till she was around 7 weeks but she only took the urine tests. My fiance and I are getting married in May so this would change all of my wedding plans which is partly why I can't get it off my mind. We won't be upset, we haven't been careful saying whatever happens happens but I have to know or I will drive myself nuts. What do you think, could I be pregnant or just stressing myself out?

I am a 30 year old single woman. I have never given birth to children of my own. I know that I am still young enough to have children and still hope to become pregnant one day, but I feel like there are children that need a loving home. I don't know how or where to begin. Age is not an issue.
I also heard that it is more difficult for single people to adopt. Is that true? What do they look for in an adoptive parent?

How about Caitlyn Marie?

Do you like Caitlyn or Katlyn more?

My 5 week old son has been diagnosed with infant reflux and milk/soy protein allergy by his doctor. He is on nutramigen Formula and Zantac 3 times a day.. the crying and hurting has improved but he is still spitting up ALOT... Iv heard that as long as he is gaining weight and he is not in pain then the throwing up really isnt a problem... BUT it also comes out of his nose and THAT scares me because im scared he is sucking it back into his longs and im scared he will get breathing problems.. Should i worry, or is that not really a problem?

We've just moved into a mobile home, and its 80 ft long, my daughters bed room is on one end and ours is on the other. She is used to waking up walking to me and getting in our bed... but the way we are layed out in the house now, i dont even think i would hear her wake up...and not to mention thinking of her waking up and trying to maneuver through the house half asleep (shes 20 months old).

So i've decided the best bet would be putting a baby gate in her door way or maybe the end of the hall... and using a baby monitor to hear her....

Which monitors have you had a good experience with with a long distance range? thanks

My boyfriend is the father just 4 the record. I first found out I was 5 weeks pregnant a few days ago. At first I cried; I was surprised, it was unplanned, and though lately I have been envying my pregnant and excited friends (a lot of people I know are pregnant right now, seems like it's contagious lol), but I just did not expect it. I decided I should get an abortion one of the reasons is fear. So when I broke the news to my boyfriend 2 days ago and added my decision to terminate, he agreed with me. He said he'd support me in whatever decision I make but that if I decide to continue the pregnancy he needs to know soon so we can begin to plan financially. I felt set on getting an abortion; it seemed like the easiest and simplest way out though I am aware there are many emotional (and physical) consequences to such a porcedure. However these last 2 days I have fallen in love with the idea of being a mother. I keep thinking about whether it will be a boy or girl. I want to keep my baby

My son is 4 months. The pediatician had me start him on cereal due to Acid Reflux.Within the past week it has gotten alot worse. It seemed like the first week he did alot better, but now the projectile vomiting has gotten worse,he screams & cries all day long instead of just during & after feedings. He never offically tested him for it.I know thats what it has to be.He vomits(projectile)with every feeding, cant hold still while eatting, screams & cries during burping and after eatting, not keeping really anything down, all day long he is fidgity, fussy, cranky, crying & screaming. He pulls at his face and arches his back, gas(colic)he's almost impossible to hold, its almost like he's trying to throw himself. Its been a nightmere, from the day he was born, everyday has been like this. They kept telling me it was colic, but Im pretty sure its Acid Reflux.Monday he has a app.,so Im going to tell the dr. to start him on some kind of meds.

my 7 month old who has been sleeping through the night in her crib for months now she started waking up crying at around 4am. i have been making sure she is full before she goes to sleep, when i pick her up she goes right back to sleep on me but she wont let me put her back in her crib. so for my own sanity i have just been bringing her into our bed and she sleeps soundly until morning (i am not looking for lectures on how i am spoiling her or starting a bad habit, and i am not going to let her cry it out). i am just looking to see if anyone else has had this happen at this age, what could be causing her to not sleep through the night anymore and when did your baby grow out of it and go back to sleeping through the night in their own bed. Thanks!

when is it no longer acceptable for a child to throw a tantrum. i think once they can talk that tantrums are not acceptable, babies throw tantrums because they have no other way to communicate(i think its kind of cute when they do). i am just wondering what other parents think. i am a nanny and pregnant with my first.
