I personally dont like the names as in my opinion they are too plain and i dont like names that are always shortened such as christopher = chris or benjamin = ben. but that is my preference some people such as yourself like that. But if both you and your wife like it then it doesnt matter what other people think as it is your son.
congrats on the new baby and go ahead with the name you and your wife seem to like and agree on it.

Personally,I don't really like that name that much.
I love the name Marcus Desmond.I have a friend with that name and I absolutely love it!
