Did you know that's it's illegal for an agency to allow a woman to chose parents for her child based on race?

Some law makers are even trying to make it illegal for PAPs to include their pics to prevent "discrimination"

However the adoptive couple can chose EVERY feature they desire and are willing to accept down to a distant history of mental health or height of b-parents, if she smoked, what kind of delivery she chose.

My daughter has always been an amazing sleeper and has always had the same routine of bath, story and is in bed from 7.00pm to 7.00am. Last week she started screaming hysterically whenever I put her to bed and starting climbing out of her cotbed. We've taken the side off her cot but things have got even worse. She sleeps until about 12.00 then runs out of her room crying. This happens all through the night until about 5.30, then shes grumpy and uncontrollable all day. I've tried putting her in her bed with no eye contact but she acts as though she is petrified of me leaving and wont stay in bed. I try putting her back immediately but shes up and out of bed crying before i can get out of the bedroom door. She always seems really scared when she wakes and it takes a long time to settle her back down. I am now at the end of my tether having had only 5 hours of sleep over the past 4 nights. Any ideas or suggestions?

I am 6 1/2 months pregnant and my sex drive has gone up ALOT. My husband doesn't mind but when we get a few minutes into it I start getting the felling I have to go to the bathroom. I go right before we start just incase but I get the feeling again and i am so scared I am going to pee on him or something. Do I really have to pee again or is it just a feeling? Is this normal? This is my first baby and everything is new to me...?

hi guys!
my friend is going to have a baby girl and they don't have many girl names picked out. they have one name that they like so far but are not very sure (...who is sure when pregnant, right? i remember i went through the same thing:))

they like the name Maxine and maybe Ella for middle name

i personally think Maxine is a cute name, it is different and sweet.
we are just wondering what you think, if you like or don't like the name and why?
and what middle cute name would go with that?

My cousin, John, is 4-years-old. He always seemed like a normal boy but he's getting older and he just doesn't seem like a normal boy. He isn't potty trained, he can barely feed himself, his perants say he can say the word "bird" but I've never heard him say anything. He can't drink out of anything other than a sippy cup, if he got hold of a cup he would tip it over and spill everything inside of it onto the floor. He will, if given the chance, run outside and to the park about a block away. If you don't catch him there he runs to the school (a preschool sort of thing) which is on the other side of a very busy highway..He likes to act like a dog now that they got a new puppy, too. And when I smack his hand to let him know when he's done something wrong he simply laughs even when I think I've slapped his hand very hard.(he wears diapers, spanking him would be useless)he also lets their puppy, with sharp puppy teeth, bite him while he simply laughs! Do you think there is a problem there?

My husband is coming home from a deployment. I've spent the entire deployment redoing our house, rearranging furniture, taking care of the yard and cars, taking care of our toddler (and our unborn child), going through tons of boxes that were in storage, doing AAAALLLL of that laundry that was in those boxes (approx. 25 loads in the past 3 days) etc..etc..etc.. just to make sure he has NOTHING to do when he gets home. I want to spend time with him because 2 weeks after he gets home he goes back to working 13 hour days. I've missed him so much and now he'll be back in 6 days. I'm so happy but I've lost all motivation with the house. My back hurts, and in the past 2 days my toddler has emptied a 3lb box of pancake mix, a small plastic aquarium full of crickets and umpteen loads of clean laundry on the floor. LOL. Uggghhhh....What can I do to get my groove back? I was doing so well.....

I am having my baby this Friday. Ultrasound said it is a Boy and I am struggling to come up with names. My other children are Lily Jennelle and Jarrod Robert.

When my son was 15 months old, his doctor told us that if we wanted to, we could start working on potty training. We tried it, and it didn't work until much later. But now my little girl is 14 months old and has started telling me "poop!" and pointing to her diaper while she's "going". Is this too early? It seems to me like if she's aware of what she's doing, it's the perfect time. But I don't want to push her too hard. And advice?

Just wondering how many women out there experienced bleeding in the first few months or throughout their pregnancy. I thought that once your pregnant your periods stop or you just get implantatin bleeding and bleeding other than that would be a sign of miscariage. However apparently that isn't true..Just curious
