I just had a shower for a friend having her 2 baby so I did not spend to much money Im guessing 100 on everything. We played the clothes pin game where no one can say baby that was alot of fun and baby food tasting where the ones everyone had the most fun. For the prizes we went a craft store and got some home decor. I did not do favors so I cant help there we wrapped the prizes and at the end everyone got a gift. We had 10 ppl though

For centerpieces, my sister took little ceramic baby girl figurines and tied balloons to them. For another baby shower she's planning on putting rubber duckies floating in a bowl of water. She also put bowls of M&Ms and confetti on the tables. It looked so festive and cute. The party favors were tealight candles in a glass jar with a pink ribbon tied around it. Everyone liked it because it was something they would actually use. Have fun!

My baby shower is this Sunday. My mom wouldn't lemme pick anything but the invitations because she wants it to be as much as a surprise as possible. Anyhow...she was just so excited about the favors that she had to show me. They are extra cute. Little baby bottles and they are filled with colorful candies shaped like pacifiers. They are too kute!

She had an idea for the center pieces but i dunno if she ever found them. Those giant baby bottles and fill them with something like pacifiers or stuffed animals or something.

Anyhow, the Internet was very helpful. Just search for baby shower decorations. Also, try craft stores. She is making most of the stuff which is really easy & affordable.

You can't go wrong with a well design baby diaper cake. These makes great table centerpieces. You gift will be the talk of the party. I came across this site after doing some search. see for yourself.

I saw some favors at the baby shower at work from this site http://www.accenttheparty.com It was the crystal baby carriage and the personalized honey favors. We all loved them and plan on using them for sister's baby shower in 3 months.

i was at my best friend's baby shower this weekend. It was the best shower I had ever been to and co-hosted. Our favors were pink/purple candles with a nice pink ribbon tied around it that said its a girl. and then there were littl gift bags with an assortment of pink and purple wrapped chocolate candies that were special ordered.

Look at a party store. They will have cute decorations and centerpieces. If you have a certain theme, (mine will be rubber duckies) then you could keep the theme in mind when choosing centerpieces and decorations.

i hosted my first ever baby shower about six months ago for my sister and wanted to do things as untraditional as possible. it seems every shower you go to is the same so we wanted it to be different. all the plates were the modern mom, light green plates with a pregnant mom in the middle. then i had little gift bags that were tied together with little hangers with shorts on them for boys. in the bags i put candy pacifires, individually wrapped butter mints that said baby boy on them and i also had hersey nuggets that i had special wrappers made for them. they wrapped around the whole nugget. on the top was a black and white photo of baby feet and on side had the date of the shower, the other side said my sisters baby shower and the bottom had different sayings for boys, there were 10 different sayings in all. i also had lottery tickets made for the door prize. they had all the shower info on them and when they scratched the ticket whoever had the ticket with the babies feet on it was the winner. and of course we had balloons and streamers and other decorations. i designed the cake myself. my sister and i both liking to do things different of course wanted a different cake to. so i started brain storming and come up with a fed ex cake. i had the cake done in all white to look like a box and in big letters in the middle i had them write fed ex in the purple and lime green colors and under that i put with a special delivery for and i put my sister and brother in laws last name. and in one corner i put fragile and in the other corner i put handle with care. it was different and fun. and instead of the typical food we had made a taco and nacho bar. a good center piece is the diaper cake which is a pain and time consuming to make easier to buy one online premade or you can buy a plain one and decorate it yourself. i also got a bear at the build a bear workshop and just put a white t shirt on it and got a fabric marker and had everyone there sign it so my sister could have a way to remember who was there to share her special day. we also came up with our own games to, cause as usual all the games are usually the same, and we did do a word scramble but instead of the usual baby products we used words that had to do both with mom and baby after the baby was born, like sleepless nights, breastfeeding, hemmriods, colic. things like that and everyone had a hard time figuring them out. every shower i have been to like 10 people get all the words in the word scramble and it hard deciding who gets the prize and needless to say we didn't have that problem. i also had mini toy rattles on the tables and had baby feet stickers on the tables as well for decoration. afterward i had so many people approach me and tell me how nice everything was and looked and it was fun to do something different. good luck and have fun.
