It sounds too stage named for my tastes. There was an actress in the '30's I think that was called Belle. My neice is named Brittany Rose but that is her first and middle names but Bella-Rose just doesn't sit right in my opinion for two first names or for a first and middle one. When I think of names I picture what the child will have to do with it as they grow up and wonder what kind of side remarks they will get from having it or nicknames that are not so nice. Bella sounds like one of those kind of names to me... getting ribbed a lot from peers if you are named it. Just my opinion but you asked.

It's a bit corny and overdone, I'm sorry to say. Quite literally trying to name her "beautiful rose," only incorrectly, since Rosa would be the proper Italian form. Unfortunately, thousands of other parents have the same idea, because it's very common.
If you truly love the combo, I'd use a formal name that can have the "word" bella as a nickname. Arabella or Annabel, for example.

Oh my goodness..I love it!
See, Bella means "beautiful" in Italian, so it's like you're naming her "beautiful rose."
It's great!
And I don't get how people would think the girl would get made fun of as she gets older. It's a beautiful name!
If you've read the Twilight series, it will give you a great appreciation for that name!
But, I do agree with one of the other answerers. Try naming her "isabella." Then, her nickname could be Bella. Ir Izzy, or whatever she wants it to be.

Bella Rose is beautiful! The only problem I have with it is that Bella is such a popular name nowadays. But there are tons of other names that could use Bella as a nickname and still be unique - Bellamy, Abella, Belinda, Bellanca, Bellen, Bellini, etc. Bellamy is my favorite variation.
The same goes for Rose. Rosalie, Rosa, Rosanne, Rosamund, Roz, etc. Bellamy Rosa? Bella Rosalie? etc.
It's still a gorgeous name, regardless of its popularity though.

Thats beautiful. Make sure it sounds ok with the surname though. You should hyphenate it if you want her to be called Bella Rose and not just Bella.

I like it it sounds classical or Victorian. But (and this is just my opinion) I would make her first name Bella and her middle name Rose instead of making it a double name.
