Wow. 17 or 18? In like middle school people were dating. I think middle school years is a good start. Lots of people at that age have feelings for eachother.

I think just "dating" in middle school. Not real dates, but maybe group dates to the movies or the bowling alley. The parents can carpool for transportation, and one could even chaperon if needed. I think they should start learning how to have a proper relationship that way they don't go boy crazy in high school, (high school boys are A LOT worse). That's just my opinion though, some families are different.

I think 15 is a good age. By then, (most) girls are more mature and doesn't let peer pressure get to them as easily as the 11-14 year olds.

I'd say your reasons are about right but your age is wrong, I know plenty 16 year olds with jobs and cars. That's also the age I would answer your question with :)

I am probably terribly old fashioned but I think you should not get married until you are ready to support a spouse and a family emotionally, financially, and etc.
I don't think you should date until you are ready to look for someone to marry.
So my answer would be maybe at 18 or 19 (in college).
