It is prounonced Kat-uh-re-nuh, and I agree with others-that Raquel is a girl name-look it up lol. Its a varient of Rachel.

Katrina (Kuh-tree-nuh) is nice but Im not soo sure about it.

Love it! Katarina Raquel sounds very nice together. I love that Katarina also has tons of variations - Catarina (Cat is so cute as a nickname), Catriona, Katrina, Caterina, etc. Also, Raquel flows much better than Rachel with Katarina - I think it's because of all the 'hard' consonants in Katarina, and the 'hard' 'q' in Raquel.

I love it!
Katarine reminds me of Kate from Shakespeare's comedy The taming of the Shrew.

Katarina means pure and Raquel sounds so lovely with it...

Great choice. Strong, but feminine and intelligent yet pretty, ... and excellent balance!

A perfect name. I also like that you are honoring your heritage. Beautiful.

Katarina as in Katryna (Kat-tree-na)? Or Kat-ar-een-a? I like it as both, but Katarina should be spelled Katrina, take out the A if it is katryna. I like it as Katarina too, but she would constantly be called katryna. Also, Raquel is a boys name.
