Hi all,
I went for my 2nd ultrasound scan on monday.. and my baby is absolutely fine :)
I was really worried that i would have miscarried without knowing or something.
It was hiding very well so we couldnt tell the sex.. till about 3 seconds before the end when he turned and revealed he was a boy! im very pleased about this :)
I asked her how much it would weigh.. and i remember her saying "2" but i cant remember which unit it was. My mum said it may have been kilo's but that would mean my baby is 4lb 6 and isnt that a bit big considering i was only 21 weeks at my scan ? Im coming up 22 now, and i would like to know does any1 know which unit of weight she might have said? Im concerned as if she said 2 kilos im worried the weight will double over the next 20 weeks. Im only 5 ft something and naturally skinny as ever and i have a bmi of 17.5 and was told my baby would be early. im very curious to know how much he weighs. I cant think of whether it was kilos or not.

Okay so i posted a question on tuesday because i was not sure if this meant i was ovulating. On Monday i started seeing some clear discharge i had been completely dry before then. I had sex with my husband that night, on tuesday, i noticed the discharge was a little darker, so my husband and i had sex again. the on wednesday i harley noticed anything anymore. we still had sex though. yesterday i was completely dry again. i never had that much discharge come out as i do usually. Today is suppose to be my ovulation day but there is absolutely no discharge coming out. what is going on? and yes, i am ttc. thank you for your answers

ps. the 14th day of my cycle was on monday and my cycles are 29 days long. thank you!

this is not a question... just an update,,, well as you may know today CD 34 no signals of my period. No BLOOD SO FAR!!! :) I test yesterday morning and I go a negative... if by Monday I still get a negative I will go to the doctors.... I was thinking about buying today a test from the dollar store and just test for the hell of it,,, I can not wait!!!! It is driving me crazy... not the fact that I WANT TO BE PREGNANT... I want either that or my period.. BUT SONMETHING!!!!!!!! 30 minutes ago I stand up of my office and I felt like (you know when you can fell the blood coming out) sorry… went to the bathroom and nothing… I think I am….

My son is 15 months old, he started walking at 11 1/2 months. Since he started walking we have been bringing the fact that my son left foot curves in while he walks. This usally causes him to trip over his own foot. Most of the time he falls down hard. His doctor told us that it is normal for this age to be pigeoned toed and walk slightly off balance. Im concered along with my husband and mother. It's very noticible and people make comments to me about his foot. Just because his doctor's not concered i'm worried we'll learn somethings wrong to late to be corrected. So should I be concered or seek another opinion? She said that he probally has a weak ankle and we will watch it and recheck at 18 months. That is the same thing she told us at his 1 year appt. We would recheck at 15 months. Again she said she wasn't worried and thought that an othropedic appt wasn't needed.

Ive just decided to put my 1 and 2 yr old boys into day care for a day. They both realy enjoy it and dont realy want to leave when it is home time they are having too much fun. They have only been 2 times so far, today I got a phone call from the centre and the lady said my 2 yr old is biting other children! When I got there she said he had bitten 2 more times since the phone call, and the parents of the children he bit were realy angry. When he is at home he doesnt bite anyone, not even his younger brother. I thouf=ght to myself, Shouldnt they be keeping a close eye on him if they know he is doing that to other children? Im not there I cant control him, They are payed over $100 per child a day to make sure this sort of thing doesnt happen, But instesd when I go there to pick him up they make it out to be my fault or try to make me feel guilty about it. Should I move him to another centre that will look after him better? What would you do and how do you think you would feel about it?

I had an epidural with my first child, it somehow only worked on the right side of my body and they knocked me out with something else. I then fell and hurt my back really bad one winter. When I was having my second child htey had trouble getting the epidural in my back, then half way through my labor it wore off. They came and fixed it but it wore off again and I had no pain meds when she was actually being born. I'm thinking it's not worth the trouble. If we have a 3rd baby I am going to have it natural with no drugs. Is that a good idea? I have long labors. first was 10 1/2 hours second was 12 1/2 hours.

We are considering an international Adoption and with that come the much debated question of changing the baby's name. One topic of dicussion I have seen brought up again and again is the topic of bad stigma's being attached to a name.. although it is not fair the truth is that it happens even today. Do you keep a name given by the birth mother even if it comes with society's baggage on how they view it.. Is it a handicap to have a name that people associate with poverty, or ignorance, or destruction like Adolf or even a bad comboination like your last name being Manson and the baby you've adopted having Charles as a given name,. or what if the child is named something like Tequilla or after a cheap liquor.. Is that fair to them . I agree that there is a lot to be said for keeping the name his or her mother gave them for many reason and if we adopt we will not be changing the name only adding to it...but are their circumstances when complete removal is acceptabl

At first, I was told to call him something I enjoy. I was think Weedface, but my girl friend shot that down. Then I though of BJ, but then my Girl friend told me I would never get one again... I only have one child a daughter who is one and i am pregnant with my second. But i dont understand why parents have such a negative reaction about video games. Alot of people complain that they spend too much time playing them. I would think parents would like that, they arent going to get hurt playing video games like they would if they were climbing trees and stuff.

What are your opinoins on video games for children?

Sometimes when me and dh have intercourse, he climaxes 2 even 3 seperate times. So he'll orgasm once, then he'll go again and again. Is this a better chance of getting preg. this way or is it better to make him wait until the next day or the day after so his sperm can be stronger and faster? I know this is a weird question, but we are ttc and he does this a lot. Thanks a lot and I know, isn't he lucky?! I'm jealous! hehehe
