I was looking at the different types of birth control today and was wondering what some of you other ladies are using and how effective it's been for you.

Did anyone else here aside from me have no pain with their miscarriage? I had nothing but on and off very mild cramps and I keep seeing everyone say 'you know you've had a miscarriage because you will be bleeding heavy and you'll be in a lot of pain.' Personally, the cramps I got with the miscarriage were MUCH less painful than period cramps. (BTW I was almost 7 weeks if how far along you were makes a difference.)

every since my daughter has been born I have given her breatmilk AND formula. She's used to both of them. Well now that she's 3 months old i want to go to straight formula.

SHE IS NOT HAVING THAT she will cry like she's dying and won't drink her bottle unless she has breastmilk. (it's the same formula that she's been having since she was born too)

what are some helpful tips to wean her off?

Plus i'm taking Alli diet pills so I can't feed her breastmilk and It kills me to hear her cry when she doesn't get it! HELP!

Before my daughter was born, me and my son (who is 4 now) liked to eat out alot. My husband was deployed in the military. I always got strange looks from people though like I was a single mom and had no right to eat in a nice resturant with my kid and no man. It was enough to make me stop going out alone with the kids. Ever happened to you?

OK, first off I want to thank everyone who helped me with all my pregnancy questions! I had a baby boy on sunday sept 30th!
Now with my actual question, I am probably being really paranoid but last night when I was changing the baby's diaper and as I went to pick him up ( thinking I had his head) his head kinda flopped far back...could I have really hurt him or would I know if I did?? I am so paranoid!!

Do people not realize that in some families the wife is the primary breadwinner and the carrier of the health insurance???? Not every woman is married to a man who is the breadwinner and can fully support the family. My husband is self-employed and we can't rely on his income because it varies so much - it either does well or he struggles. But he loves what he does and I'm there to support us and pull us through. I couldn't stay home after I had children because we wouldn't be able to survive on his income alone. Do people NOT get that every family is different? Why do some people have to keep putting down working moms saying that they are 'damaging' their children somehow? I say, mind your own business!

Jacob Isaiah Ali
David Isaiah Ali
Avery Isaiah Ali
Gabriel Isaiah Ali

I am keeping the Isaiah Ali part b/c I LOVE it. I sort of want my baby to have a "more American" sounding first name b/c my fiance has a difficult-to-pronounce Muslim name and he says it's a burden

Everyone's in bed but I just heard him get up and ask my Mum if he could go for a walk.

We live in a safe neighbourhood, but of course Mum said no.

I'm thinking it's not just a walk to clear his head...

What on earth is my brother up to? Does it sound suss to you?

okay..we had sex on aug 10th and the 23rd..used a total of 3 condoms and one came spermicided

she missed her period (maybe bc of stress, her last one was july 30th to the 4th or 6th of aug) so we took a test at planned parenthood on the 10th of september and it came out negative..what a relief, but was it too early? She told me before the 10th she experianced bleeding for only 1 day lasting 30 mins..was this implantation bleeding?

we hung out the 21st n she got her period she showed me the pad that was inside her, she didnt take it out i just saw it n felt it but supposedly she had it for a few days already and still was going on the 21st

then she claimed she took a home test and it was negative

i went back to the center and asked how accurate that test was on sept 10th and if it wasnt too early they told me to relax and everything is fine she isnt pregnant

that 1 day for only 30 min thing worries me though..was it implantation? im studyin for my bio exam and it made me paranoid
