1 month is too early to be feeling contractions. However, many women (myself included) experience mild cramping throughout early pregnancy. Is this what you are referring to? It might feel a little like menstrual cramps and is perfectly normal.

At 1 month pregnant, you wouldn't be feeling contractions (you might feel some cramping) and you definitely wouldn't feel it near your navel, because at 1 month, the uterus is still so low in the pelvis that it hasn't even risen up from behind the pubic bone - not high enough to feel anything near the navel.

Hi,
The pain you get when pregnant are more like a cramp like pre menstrual cramps, not so much a contraction but prob feels quite close!

Do pregnancy test! Best of Luck!

Ring doctor if in doubt!

It sounds like a muscular twitch, and nothing associated with pregnancy.
