We are having our first baby (a girl) in 5 weeks. We are looking at using our Grandmothers' first, middle or maiden names and any names that can be derived from these names.
Lillian, Elizabeth, Josephine and Cameron (we'd spell it Camryn)
Any suggestions?

she was doing well for awhile and would tell me when she had to go, but now she doesn't tell me at all and i'm so frustrated. i think having a soiled diaper doesn't bother her so that is making it harder to potty train her. she just doesn't seem to care. she knows what is going on b/c we talk about it all the time and she has an older sister that is potty trained and she sees her telling me when she has to go and wearing panties. i don't know what else to do. any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have rather bad stretch marks on my stomach, breasts, hips, thighs, and my bum. These are from a growth spurt I had at 13 (now 21). My mother also has stretch marks from growing and pregnancy, but not nearly as bad as mine. I was wondering - are there any ladies out there whose pre-existing stretch marks got worse when they become pregnant? Or, did you get new ones in new places when you became pregnant? Is there any known, safe methods (such as rubbing in vitamin e oil) that you can do every night/day whilst pregnant to prevent new ones from appearing?

Im early in my pregnancy havent even found out for sure only 2 positive test but a couple nights ago while laying in bed i believe i was on my stomach i kept feeling little bubbles popping in my stomach and i would jump because it felt strange but kind of tickles my hubby said i might be getting sick or needing to go to the restroom but it wasnt that kinda of popping. it felt like bubbles or something. I turned over on my side and it stopped. What do ya'll think my mom thinks i might be farther along that what we think. Is it normal to feel early movements with one or maybe with twins, my hubbys brother's wife is expecting twins in April.

I am 1 week 1 day overdue for my period. I suspected I was pregnant so I did a home test yesterday that came back a very faint positive. To confirm I did one today that came back negative. I don't know what to think?? I have a few symptoms (eg sore breasts,) but I don't want to get my hopes up. Is it possible to have a positive test one day a negative the next but still be pregnant? How long should I wait to try another test?
Thanks in advance!!

My husband and I have been married for over a year and a half. We are a relatively young couple (I'm 22 and he is 25) and we have a beautiful 9 month old baby girl. She was also a planned pregnancy. We plan on trying to have another baby sometime next fall. I went on birthcontrol pills as soon as my daughter was born, but they made me terribly ill every morning, so bad that I stopped taking them. Ever since, we have been using the-not-so reliable pull-out method. I have asked him to buy condoms, but since he is the only one working, we are always strapped for cash, and he says they cost way to much money. Like a baby wouldn't???
Anyway, we had sex 2 nights ago, which was my ovulation time, so I know I am going to worry for the next 2 weeks.
So, how exactly reliable is pulling out percentage wise. No rude comments because I have always been extremely careful, no unplanned pregnancies, not even pregnancy scares.

I'm a freshman in east valley Arizona and I'm looking to get a job since I spend tons of money on a social life. My parents are fine with it so that's not really a problem.

I was just wondering what types of places hire teens that AREN'T in the fast food industry? What are some ways I can show a possible employer that I am mature enough to handle a job? Please help me.

I have had many of the symptoms. Such as the throwing up headaches and fatigue. I have had my periods. But not normal ones. 1 was way late and didnt last long and the other 2 was mostly spotting. Until today i never thought about taking another test and im not even sure if theres a reason to. Opinions anyone?

Have you ever heard of a double baby shower? See my girlfriend and my wife are both due around the same time, and since they are twins they want to have a double baby shower.
I told them this was morally wrong, what do you think?

she didnt have a date and only couples were allowed to have their photos professionally taken. I am not sure why this is but I am somewhat upset by it. My daughter specifically went to the Homecoming dance without a date because she wanted to enjoy the evening with friends and not (to use her words) be "stuck entertaining her date all night" (I had to laugh a little at that). I dont think it is right that single boys or girls cant get their photo taken at this event. What do you think?

How come every time I give someone tips on letting their child cry it out, or learning how to get their child to self soothe, I get loads of thumbs down? My doctor told my husband and me to follow some very simple steps to get our son to sleep through the night in his crib. Yes, in the beginning he cried, but now he goes to sleep on his own when we put him in his crib. Why are people so negative about this? It's not abusive; it actually is good for him to learn that he can soothe himself. I just don't understand why people give thumbs down when I recommend the method. It's happened three or four times now, and I'd like to know if you're against this method of teaching your child how to sleep soundly in his or her crib, then what is your alternative solution? Why would the pediatrician recommend it if it weren't a good idea?

Sometimes I even have nightmares in which they are eaten alive by giant teflon-coated frypans!
Is it normal to do this, or is it just when you have a *selfish* daughter in law who doesn't know how to raise her children correctly because she won't listen to everything that *I* say?

my son turned 3 months on the 20th and he is so hungry lately! i make his bottles with 5 1/2 oz water, 2 1/2 scoops formula, and 2 tspn rice cereal and saturday while my mom watched him, he had 5 bottles from 11:30-4! today when my gma had him from 6-8 he had 2. so he is eating a bottle like every hour. i am going to consult his dr tomorrow during office hours but i am just curious about if anyone else has done this.

btw, i know they say wait 4-6 months but my mom was eating solids at 2 months and guess what... she is fine!
