i want to know if its a sighn of early labor or anything to do with labor because i had pain around and above my belly button.it went on for one hour., and the nurse said to time it and come if they are 5 minutes apart. they were very close but only lasted for one hour. what u think does it mean

I've taken 3 home tests&all were neg. but I'm still having a couple of signs.It's been 5 weeks since I had unprotected sex,it was on July 28th,but he didnt go in all the way&was only in for maybe 3 sec. but he precomed.The signs I'm having are:I pee more than usual,my stomach is hard,I'm hungrier than I used to be,I spotted for 3-4 days-started on the 30th-after we did that-it was 2 days after we did it,I used to not have acne but now I do even though I clean my face evryday,some smells make me nauseated until they take it away so it only lasts for a second.So could I be?I had my period on the 15 of Aug. but I know you can still have your period when youre pregnant. If I hadnt done what we did,I would've started my period on Aug 3rd so I'm not sure if I was ovulating or not.We did it 7 days before I was supposed to start.By the way,this is not all in my head b/c I already experienced that but then I realized I'm probably not.I'm uncertain though.&I'm also not srtessed so that's not it.

Last night i went into labor at 1130. by 1am they were regular, 2 minutes apart and starting to get painful. went to the hospital, they checked me at 130 my cervix was closed, hard, and high up. at 3 (cxn's still 2min apart and hurting more) they checked again and i was 2cm thinning and my cervix had moved down more. so things were progressing well. then at 7am they checked again and i was still 2cm, cxn's were getting verry painful, to the point where i needed to sit down during them and couldn't sleep because they woke me up. they discharged me to do this early/latent phase at home. since then my contractions have slowed and decreased in pain.

this same thing happened with my first pregnancy. i was stuck at 2cm having dysfunctional labor for 2 1/2 days. i don't want to do that all over again.
it's been almost 20hrs, my labor has stalled and i need to find a way to get things going again. any suggestions? please, no "it will happen when the bb's ready" comments. thankyou

YES i have a four year old son & i didnt find out i was pregnant with him till i was four months long. now i ask this question and i want nice & not rude answers. i had my last period July 21-25th and i didnt get August. i have sore breast and little more bathroom runs. im just curious and i will be getting a pregnancy test done on tuesday, i just kinda like to know sooner or your opinions and not rude people. He recently started this thing where he tells me he wants one thing then says no, he wants something else, for example ill say what do you want to watch? barney or curious george? and first he'll say barney so i'll put it on then he'll say no george so then i put it on and so on and so on he just keeps going and i try to walk away but then he screams and throws a fit! I have my last menstral cycle august 9th i spotted really lightly pink on august 26th and it was just that one time well i have been feeling a little sick the last week and today september 1st i went to the bathroom and when i was done there was brown colored stuff so when i went to the bath room again there was nothing it was just one time im not really sure whats going on im having a little bit of cramping but its not bad

I have a friend in his twenties. His wife cheated on him, took everything he had, including their child. Got an outrageous court settlement causing him to have to pay so much in child support that he couldn't afford even a single room apartment so his parents said he was welcome to live with them, in fact they didn't like it when he finally was able to move so he took them up on their offer. Now after 15 years his mom made the comment "MOST PARENTS CHARGE THEIR GROWN CHILDREN TO STAY WITH THEM". Is this true, you have a son or daughter who has been betrayed by his wife, left with nothing and needing help, is it a matter of love for the son or daughter to help and not even bring up or expect money or is this world so cold that if he could have paid he should have? When his parents are old and can't take care of themselves he's always said he would take them in and take care of them.

PAY or NOT? This isn't a bum, it's a blue collar worker who had no place to turn to.

What always seemed so ridiculous is that a fetus only becomes a human being once it passes through a certain opening. That's just well... stupid (well I'm always open for someone to pose an argument). In your opinion, when does the embryo develop enough to be considered a human life with rights?

So I'm pregnant, and this is my first child. I'm having my kid at home only because I feel a lot more comfortable with it. Plus I'm going to breastfeed and use cloth diapers. When I tell people, they get kinda harsh and talk to me like I'm some barbarian who's going to eat my offspring at birth.
