My son is19 months old and I have been at home every day with him almost. The only time my parents or his parents watch him is if Im sick or have something like a doc. appt. Ive asked my mom before to watch him while I got my hair done and she said no, she always took me when I was little. Its not that I dont love every sec. with my son but I would love just to go to the store by myself or go get my hair done by my self. Or go for a jog or work out or just sit at home at watch tv other than barney. I feel like b/c my mother never asked for help i sholdnt either. I dont even know where to start to find someone to watch him for a while, Then I would pay them and feel guilty for spending my husbands hard earned money while I stay at home all day. Does any one have any advice? We dont have any friends with children or I would child swap. Then I think I want more kids but Im affraid to ask for help because people will think I cant handle it. ANy one else in the same boat? HELP me

My girlfriend and I are dating for over 4 years. I am 25 and she is 23. I gotten my girlfriend pregnant. When she first told me and showed me the test, I got really scared. I ran off. This would be my 3rd month without being with my girlfriend (she is 3 and a half month pregnant). I know that she is feeling sad and depressed that I ran off on her. I realize something after being more than 2 months without her. I need to support her and our newborn kid. I've done the biggest mistake. I want her to take me back. I'm still very much in love with her. I think she told her friends and family that I ran off already. How am I suppose to get a good reputation with her friends and family again and gain my girlfriend's trust again? I am really glad that she isn't seeing anyone as of right now. I really want to be with my girlfriend again and support her. I know I won't run off on her ever again. I know she's the one for me.

when i ask my son to do something he totally ignores me or does the opposite to what i ask. he makes a mess and refuses to clean it up. he hits his sister regularly and when i tell him not to do that again he hits or kicks me. what should i do to get my son to obey me.

he has always been a good sleeper and when he wakes up he just screems and throws himself around if i don't just pick him up.. i just need so help here, i let him cry it out, but he seems just to keep crying and crying. i have white noise in his room help me here..lol

My doctor said my cervix was measuring 3.7 and I'm 21 weeks. She asked me to stop working because my job required me to be on my feet for long hours and lots of lifting. Can my cervix get better with rest? Can I still carry to term with my cervix at 3.7? She wants to check it in 4 weeks.

Not too long ago, I had myself convinced that I didn't want to get pregnant until my daughter was at least 3. Now that she's almost 2, and after hanging around here, I have the baby itch soooo bad. It's not the right time yet-we're getting married in October and moving in November-but I want to get pregnant again! I don't know if it's because she's getting bigger, or because I've been around here so much. Has anyone else started thinking about having more babies after hanging around Pregnancy for a while?

I dont know what labor is like.. although this is my second child. I had an emergency c section at 36 weeks with my last. planning another c section with this one..but i have felt like crap today. I am having lower back pains my whole abdomen aches. it feels tight. and i have had an upset lower stomach all day. i dont know if it is just stress (i was just recently put on complete bed rest for blood pressure and i am a little worked up about it for financial reasons) I dont know what to think.

How is your experience in letting your child be awake to fall alseep in the crib and not you rocking him/her?

My son does a great job at falling asleep. He will coo for a min or two, then lay there with his eyes open and then fall sleep in a few. I just walk away and peek to check on him.

How are your experiences?
