If you think you might be in labor you need to call the doctor right now. A baby born after 30 weeks has a very good chance of survival, but you would be better off if you went to 34, or better yet, 36. Please just give them a call. It could be Braxton Hicks, but it may not be-the upset stomach makes me think it may be labor. Please call now!

It actually could be the on set of latent labor. I had the same thing at 32 weeks and was put on Bed Rest and given a persription to stop the contractions.
The baby should be ok but would require a hospital stay if born now.. they really want you to get to at least 36 weeks..
Call your Doctor tell them about the pains you are feeling, take it easy and see if it gets better after changing position or drinking some water.
Best of luck & congratulations!!

If you think you maybe in labor call the doctor!! My daughter was born at 32 week due to abruption and we were very lucky! She was only on a vent for less than 48 hours and was only in the hospital 26 days, but she could have been very sick. Also gender and race have an effect on it. Girls do better that boys and African American babies do better than Caucasian. Good Luck

my cousin had her twins at 32 weeks and they were ok, they had a long hospital stay of course seeing as they were both a little over 2 pounds. If you were to go into labor they would probaby try to stop it, if they couldnt stop your labor your baby should be ok, it will just have some problems and have a longer hospital stay. Try not to go into labor though keep that bun in the oven as long as you can!

I'm sure your baby will survive if you were to go into labor at this point, but every extra day your baby spends in the womb makes him/her stronger. I delivered twins at 33 weeks, they were very tiny, stayed in hospital for 2 weeks; but 6 years later, they are healthy, active boys.

yeah, the baby would have to stay in the hospital a few weeks but there wouldn't probably be any long term effects. my daughter was born at 31 weeks, 3lb, 1oz and is healthy as can be now two years later... congrats
