Love it. Actually that is what I wanted to name my girl-but it wasn't POPULAR-like ashley,heather, blah blah blah -and I let others talk me out of it so you shouldn't let others influence you if that's the name you want to name your girl-you will regret it later on. I wanted to name my son Shane-that got nixed also :(

i like the name. Maren is a very unique and not common name, which is so special about the name. There are also different ways to spell it and similar names. But a name common to this name is Mauriel, Marielle, and Mareen.

I like it too... I don't know any Maren's either so it's unique.. I think it's pretty and sounds like a little princess's name. Would you call her Mary for short? It is cute.. what middle name is going with it?...

I think it's beautiful. I love that it's uncommon but still heard of. I also like that it's not horribly trendy and spelled wrong, LOL! It definitely gets a thumbs up for me!
