i am 11 weeks or early in my 3 months and i wanted to no how early they can find out what her or his sex is. i no they have there privates now. when when can we find out wat it is

I'm just wondering for those moms who stay at home with their kids, when your husbands/boyfriends come home from work, do they help out with the kids at all?? I know my husband works extremely hard to provide for his family, but should he not have to do anything at all when he comes home from work? Sometimes I'll ask him to give our daughter a bath and he says its my job to do that b/c he has worked all day. I don't make him do anything around the house except clean the shower b/c he is a mechanic and the shower can get really dirty due to his work so that is the only thing I ask of him. I'm just wondering if it is fair that just b/c he works outside the home, he shouldn't help out with the kids as far as bathing them, brushing teeth, putting them too bed, etc.

Okay went to the doctor today and I might be totally mixing this up but Im suppose to be 18 wks, the first day of my last period was May 2nd(im positive of that). The nurse practioner said that Im only measuring at 13.5 inches. Does this mean the baby isn't growing correctly? Should I be concerned about any of this

have any of u traveled at 37 weeks. i am really homesick and my parents cant come but i am planning to go with my husband by car and its 3 hours away. i called the doctor and he said its not safe. i want to know what do i need or what will i do if my labor starts while i am there. please try to understand the fact i am really alone in this city. any advice will be good. i feel suffocated here

My son will be starting kindergarten the day after labor day. I am not worried about the school day, but more the lunchtime. He has been in preschool since he was 3, (speech therapy special ed program, he has a speech delay) and since there were only about 5 kids in his class, lunch was brought to him and there weren't any choices. If I do allow him to buy lunch, Im concerned because of his delay, he will not know what to do or maybe not be understood by the lunch providers. Are there in aides in the lunch room assisting the 5 year olds? Should I pack him a lunch or make him buy?

I have been scolded for rocking my baby to sleep each time and then I hear such terrible things about crying it out. I am a first time mom with a ACTIVE 6 week old. He literally sleeps 4 hours a day TOTAL!!!!! I know I have to deal with that part but I spend hours upon hours getting him to sleep. I need some advice from those who have been there.

Her left eye's tear ducts have been blocked since birth. We've tried warm rags and massaging it and still it's blocked. Now that she is 10 months old, she HATES it when we try to clean it up and treat it. Eye drops are even trickier to use because she sees it coming and we have to get it in the eye!

We've tried everything the doctors have told us and there is no change. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I was told while I was pregnant that brown eyes will dominate over blue.
Same as dark hair will dominate over blonde hair.

I was just wodnering.
I have met a new partner {not my babys dad} and he had dark hair dark eyes and tanned skin. He is Aboringinal {We live in Australia}
I love my son's colouring the white blonde hair and the bluest eyes everyone comments on them!

I would love to have a girl look like this.
I know people are going to same im a bad person for wanting my child to look like something...
But I don't mind her/him coming out with dark hair eyes ect.

But what will dominate?
I have auburn hair and bluest eyes and fair skin.
I was white blonde hair as a child.
My son gets his hair some his bio father.

This is a post I put up the other day about my problem with my Doctor.




I am having a scheduled cesarean and my Dr's office just called me and left a message on my phone telling me the time and date of the procedure and she said I would need to go to the hospital a day before to have some pretesting done. I am healthy and have had no problems during this pregnancy. This will be my fourth c-section and I have never had to do any pretesting before, so I have no idea what that means.

Also my Doctor said before my surgery she will have me sign a paper saying that if she can't control bleeding i will consent to having a hysterectomy. Is this normal? I really don't want to have one. How common is this?

I plan on talking with her next Wednesday. What if she tells me she won't do the c-section without me signing the consent for the hysterectomy? Should I change doctor's or go with the flow? This dr. has been pressuring me to get my tubes tied she says becuse of repeat c-sections.

I know I shouldn't have, but I stopped taking birth control mid-way through a cycle (about a week into the pack). I was taking tri-sprintec (the generic for ortho tri-cyclen). I have had unprotected sex since I stopped taking the pill. About 3 days after I stopped taking the pill, I was bleeding for 2 or 3 days. Was the bleeding a side effect of stopping the pill mid-cycle? Is there any way I could be pregnant now? How long would it take me to get pregnant?

I am on no form of birthcontrol but me and my boyfriend has sex twice within one hour, each time he pulled out and in between he washed off his penis.

2 days later i took Emergency Contraceptives but i am still afraid i could be pregnant. How likely would it be?

My husband and i have been trying to get pregnant for about 7 months now, and still nothing. I just figured out the ovulation count and all that, so i tried that last month. well i am pretty on time each month to the day (28-29 days), still have not got it, was suppose to this past sunday. i stopped stressing on it, i used to stress and would cry every month. But i was recently told that i have uneven ovaries which is weird cause it doesnt run in my family. nothing runs in his either. so could that really have something to do with it?

Yesterday, My mother's boyfriend made me pain the fence with thinner to proect the surface. I said I was done, he looked it over and there was alot of little tiny specs missed, he kept telling me to redo it, and after the 3rd time he smacked relatively hard across the face and I said he can paint it himself and left.

I phoned my older brother who is 23, (I keep in touch with my brother). He always said he would kick his mothers boyfriend's *** if he had to). He is one of those agressive types my brother, bodybuilding for over 6 years and boxing for 4. He came to his work and broke his nose, and gave him 2 black eyes.

I knew my brother would do something, I was quite happy about it to teach my mom's boyfriend to ever hit me again.

Was this the proper way my brother should have dealt with this?
