My husband and i have been trying to get pregnant for about 7 months now, and still nothing. I just figured out the ovulation count and all that, so i tried that last month. well i am pretty on time each month to the day (28-29 days), still have not got it, was suppose to this past sunday. i stopped stressing on it, i used to stress and would cry every month. But i was recently told that i have uneven ovaries which is weird cause it doesnt run in my family. nothing runs in his either. so could that really have something to do with it?

Golly, your question attracted my attention because I thought that you were unable to find Prego brand spaghetti sauce at your local grocery store. lol

But seriously, I'm not familiar with the term "uneven ovaries". Does that mean that they differ in size or the tubes leading to them are of two different lengths? Anyway, I wouldn't think that it should matter. It took a year of trying for me to become pregnant with our third child so don't get discouraged. Best wishes!

I'm not sure on how long it takes for a couple to get pregnant, but it seems that the more so you want to be, the longer it takes for you to be. It sounds like that you should give it a little more time, have sex whenever you feel like it (but not in public, and if so, don't get caught) and not when you're at the highest chance of conceiving. If you do, then it'll feel like a chore that you have to get done. Relax and enjoy it. Stress has a tendency to make you cycle earlier or later and too-high stress levels might even be keeping you from concieving.

However, if you've tried for over a year, it might be time to stop by the doctor's office and get some tests done and check out what your other options are.

All 4 of my pregnancies came by accident. Condom broke/didn't work, whatever. I didn't want any more kids, and here I am pregnant with #4. I'm not complaining. Just stop worrying so much. It'll happen when the time's right. Stop counting, keep track of your period like normal, other than that...just have fun, don't use BC though.

7 months is a long time at all to be trying. Even healthy young couples take on average about a year.

Have sex, enjoy it, and be pregnant.

It took me 6 YEARS! Get an ovulation kit from the drug store. Prop your hips up with pillows when your done to keep his goodies inside you. And finally what ended up working was, I stopped obsessing and concieved during the best session we ever had!
