Yesterday, My mother's boyfriend made me pain the fence with thinner to proect the surface. I said I was done, he looked it over and there was alot of little tiny specs missed, he kept telling me to redo it, and after the 3rd time he smacked relatively hard across the face and I said he can paint it himself and left.

I phoned my older brother who is 23, (I keep in touch with my brother). He always said he would kick his mothers boyfriend's *** if he had to). He is one of those agressive types my brother, bodybuilding for over 6 years and boxing for 4. He came to his work and broke his nose, and gave him 2 black eyes.

I knew my brother would do something, I was quite happy about it to teach my mom's boyfriend to ever hit me again.

Was this the proper way my brother should have dealt with this?

fighting is never a resolution, it only causes more pain and problems. Your brother loves you, of course, but at 23 he should know that hitting someone is not the answer. Your brother might actually be in a lot of trouble now. If your mom's boyfirend goes to the cops, your brother will go to jail. He could get charged with felony assault! It could be mandatory jail, and will affect his entire life. You should have gone to your mother and confronted her about the boyfriend. And you should have told the boyfriend if he hits you again then you call the cops and he goes to jail for assault on a minor!!!

Violence is not something I would condone, BUT, when a man strikes a woman then I'd say he got what he deserved. This man is NOT your father, not even a step father, he had other options open to him rather than hitting you. It's time to speak to your mother and set some guidelines.
Personally, if you were my daughter, either the boy friend would go or you would be offered to live with your father, anything that would put you in a position where the boy friend could never hit you again.

No violence perset violence. what your moms boyfriend did hitting u is wrong but u should of told your mom and not your brother because now the boyfriend could put your brother in jail because of the beating he gave your moms boyfriend. but u need to realize that even though he hit u and that is wrong as it is u could of called the police and dealt with this your self but now your brother could pay a bigger price... tell your mom to get rid of this boyfriend if this isnt the first instance and u keep your brother away from this situation...

No? What would make you think vigilante justice is acceptable. There are laws and police officers for a reason. You can call CPS if your mom's BF is abusing you, and you should certainly tell your mother too.

Your brother can end up in jail because of what he did.

no that was bad idea what youre brother had done to youre mom boyfriend. anyways if you had got slapped by youre mom boyfriend you should told youre mom about it and have her deal with her relationship with her own life instead having youre brother beated the hell of him. or even you should call the police to arrest youre mom boyfriend for touching you in wrong way. now you in trouble for that and even you had made youre brother more troubler cause pretty soon. youre mom boyfriend might report it to the police deptarment to arrest youre brother for getting into big fight with him. what with you.
