2 days later i took Emergency Contraceptives but i am still afraid i could be pregnant. How likely would it be?

this was on the 25th and im supposed to have my period right around the first of the month...

you can always get pregnant at any time of the cycle and the pulling out method doesn't always work but you toOK the emergency contraceptive pill so you should be ok if you don't get your period though then i would suggest just taking a pregnancy test to make sure good luck

Your period might be late because you are stressed. The only way to find out if you are pregnant is to buy a test. The pull and pray does not always work and you really should use other forms of protection. If you did take the emergency contraceptive then I would think you would be safe. If you still do not have your period in a few more days I would buy a home pregnancy test. You can get them at target for a few bucks.

Out of 100 women over a one year time frame, 27 got pregnant using the Withdrawl method like you are doing.

But having taken the Emergency Contraceptive, your chance was decreased a lot.

"Emergency Contraception
Emergency Contraception Pills: Treatment initiated within 72 hours after unprotected intercourse reduces the risk of pregnancy by 75-89 percent. (No protection against infection.) Can be initiated within 120 hours of unprotected intercourse. "

Just stop using that method if you don't want to get pregnant.

It's risky and having to buy Emergency Contraceptives every time you have sex is expensive and can't be good for you.

Take a test if you miss your period this month.

First, taking the emergency pill does not remove you from being pregnant. The fact that you had an unprotected sex, no matter how it was done, puts you to the risk. Now, since it's all been done, all you have to do is to wait for your period..or better yet, do a test. If you're not ready to take the test, i suggest you wait for until the second week of the following month and observe yourself..frequent urinals, itchy breasts and the like. Try to observe the white discharge..if it's thin/light, mucous-like discharge, then youre unlikely to be pregnant. But if your discharge is thick, and solid white in color, then you are likely to be one. These are based on my experience but best thing to do still is to face it and give yourself a TEST..goodluck!

Well, if you haven't missed your period yet, there are no sure signs. Of course, emergency contraceptives aren't 100%, but there are two types. Progestin-only pills (brand name Plan B) reduce your risk of pregnancy by 89% and Progestin and estrogen combined pills reduce your risk by 75%. Also, the sooner you take emergency contraceptive pills, the better they work. While these are likely chances, there is no guarantee. If you do not want to be pregnant, wish for the best....

Penis in baby out. its not rocket science.

plan b must be taken within 24 of having unprotected sex, not 48. But even after 48hours its still quite a dose on your body.

Next time use a condom.

Honey, this makes you sound incredibly stupid. Stop this type of behavior. Trust me, an unwanted pregnancy is not worth getting a sticky, dripping crotch. Protect yourself and your life PLEASE!
