ok so i am 37 weeks pregnant and we have had a name picked out since we found out it was a boy at 18 weeks. We were going to name him Christopher Damon after our dads. we both liked the name and agreed on it. Well now he has decided he isnt to fond of it anymore and has changed his mind, im kinda upset but at the same time i am ok with it and dont mind picking another out. After all im not going to force him to like a name lol. Only thing is im 37 weeks along and im flipping out becuase we cant agree on anything and i dont want to be like my cousin who sat in the hospital for a week with an unnamed baby....so any suggestions would be nice :)

I am 20 weeks pregnant - I find out if I'm having a girl or boy on the 5th next week. My partner and I have chosen names already (in the first weeks of pregnancy)... I am just concerned because he brought up that people might call our little girl (if we have a girl) Amy-lee but her name is suppose to me Am`elee as in Amelie... or those who still don’t understand the name Am-il-y. It’s just my cousins name is Amy and her nick name is Emily and I need to use LEE because its tradition in my family and I love this name. What do you think? Should I just get rid of the ee and have ie? Thanks guys!

My 5 1/2 month old son all of a sudden woke up today with a runny nose. He's never been sick before and that seems to be his only symptom -although his cheeks look a little flushed. I was just wondering if this could be a symptom of teething - I've read conflicting articles. He seems miserable though and I'm not sure if I should take him to the doctor or just wait it out and see if a little tooth erupts. I would just like to hear some other parents' experiences with teething. Thank you!

I have tried two types of pill and one type of patch. I have experienced uncontrollable bleeding that lasted more than a month at one point. My hair is also falling out like crazy! I have had two condoms break on me so I don't feel comfortable only using those. I have an 8 month old baby ... (I am married and in my 20's in case you were wondering) HELP!

see today while i was at the college going to my math class i felt this little pain in my belly, and i was like great im fixing to start my period, well i went to the bathroom and there was nothing but pee on the toilet paper , so i was like ok maybe just gas . then when i got out of school i went home and had to pee , and wiped and there was this brown spot on the paper assuming that it was the blood, it has done that only twice since i had gone to the bath room . what could it mean . i mean it does that when i am fixing to stop my period but not before i have had one ! what could that be ?

ok whole story...i am 16 almost 17 my last period was on july 18th then i had sex on the 16th of august i havent even thought about it until the 24th wen i started spotting and i figured i was juss havin a screwy period then i talked to my aunt n she said i could becuz i guess my family gets pregnant easily and then yesterday i started feeling nauseas and really tired and i took a test n it said no but it mite be to early still and if i am i would keep it because i dont believe in abortions so im still not sure give me GOOD answeres pplz

I have had a perfectly normal pregnancy so far. All tests have come out as they should, baby is about average size, and the doctor even said that I couldn't ask for a better pregnancy for a first time mother. As of last Tuesday, I was dilated 1 cm but I don't believe I have had any contractions. I guess my question is: Does labor just come on suddenly? Are there any indicators of upcoming labor, or will I just wake up one morning and suddenly start doubling over in pain. Or wake up in the middle of the night. I'd like to hear some stories of other women's labors. I'm just getting so impatient!

What is the point in going to college and drinking crazy and getting way drunk every weekend? I went to college and din't do that stuff. I just don't see how getting drunk and throwing up is a form of a good time. Why do these people do this? It does not even look cool when I see my old high school classmates in pictures with beer bongs and stuff. WHy is this cool? And why does it happen over and over. How is this THAT great?

I had my tubes tied and didnt ever think we would want another child, well she is 5 and we should of thought of this before I did it.. But are there ways to have a child other then adopting.. I have to leave my house before my kids start school. They go to different schools and start at different times. Also, one goes to a school that is sometimes closed due to staff shortage and they don't inform me until I'm already at work. My concerns are with putting them in a before school program when the younger one may not even go to school on any particular day either due to staff shortage or weather. I still need to go into work. Also, I have 3 children so I'm worried it might be expensive. I don't want to ask relatives or friends because they either are unable to watch my kids for me due to other obligations (work) or because I don't feel comfortable asking them and I just don't want to "go there."

Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you have a similar situation? What do you do?

I notice that a lot of people have thier babies in bassinets for the first few months of life, well. I never had one and I always put my son in his crib from the time we came home from the hospital. We did put him in an infant seat for a week or 2 and here and there next to the bed (bed on floor), but never a bassinet. Were we wrong to put him in the crib at such a young age? I mean, he didn't mind it and seemed fine. Why do people use the bassinets? Am I bad?

My husband told me i have to pick the names for our next child by tonight or he is going to pick them I hate his names.

He likes Annabelle Claire Hayes and Cody Braeden Hayes.

I dont like these names but i am having trouble coming up with middle names for my girls and picking the best name for boys.
