I was told while I was pregnant that brown eyes will dominate over blue.
Same as dark hair will dominate over blonde hair.

I was just wodnering.
I have met a new partner {not my babys dad} and he had dark hair dark eyes and tanned skin. He is Aboringinal {We live in Australia}
I love my son's colouring the white blonde hair and the bluest eyes everyone comments on them!

I would love to have a girl look like this.
I know people are going to same im a bad person for wanting my child to look like something...
But I don't mind her/him coming out with dark hair eyes ect.

But what will dominate?
I have auburn hair and bluest eyes and fair skin.
I was white blonde hair as a child.
My son gets his hair some his bio father.

Well Im naturally blonde hair/blue eyes and my daughters dad is brown/hazel eyes...brown/black hair and my daughter has dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes.
My mother is reddish/blonde hair and blue eyes and her first husband has hazel eyes/black hair and the kid came out blonde hair blue eyes.
Her second husband was hazel eyes/brown hair and one kid came out blonde hair/blue eye and the other dark brown hair/blue eye
Her current husband has hazel eyes/light brown hair and both kids from him have blonde hair/blue eyes.
So from that I would say blue dominates over brown.

I have fair skin, blue eyes, and reddish hair. I married an Italian with black hair, olive skin and brown eyes. I was alway told that brown dominates over blue. Our first was a girl with very fair skin, blue eyes and blonde hair. Our second was a boy with dark skin, and blue eyes (I am not sure what color of hair yet, since he is still bald.)

I think it could also depend on the boy - girl thing. I think boys tend to look more like their dads.

If your new lover is a pure aboringinal, then I bet the dark skin and hair will dominate.

Pigmented eyed (brown, green, hazel) genes are dominant to blue eyed genes. Same goes for pigmented vs. light skin tones, and dark vs. light hair. That being said, a child can inherit a dominant AND recessive gene from their parents, usually the dominant one being the one expressed. But surprises do happen. Also some traits operate on a sliding scale of sorts- the child ending up with a combination of traits from both parents. Height, for example, is one of such traits. But if you and your new partner have a child, it probably won't be as fair as your son.

It all depends on the genes! Both of my sons are fair-haired and blue eyed. I am also fair haired and blue eyed, while my husband has darker hair and dark brown eyes. I was convinced that our babies would get his coloring, but I have been pleasantly surprised!

I have dark hair and hubby has blonde and both kids have blonde. (so my dark genes definately didn't dominate)
Also I have blue eyes, he has brown and we have 2 children, boy-blue eyes, girl-brown eyes.

I don't think you can choose! and aboriginal, just as african or asian genes will dominate over caucasian genes as they are just stronger so if you have children they will definately resemble him. Look at asian/white couples or african/white couples and look at their kids.
(BTW, i'm not discriminating against anyone just stating a fact!lol)

Well it depends on your familys history. Does everyone in your family look liek you or just you? If your entire family looks just like you (and your new partners family is very mixed) your genes will dominate, vice versa etc.
