My 22 month old Danny diagnosed with autism. Was happy, healthy and met all milestones up until February when he completely regressed. We are starting ABA and OT for him. Do you think I should refuse all his future vaccines. He is currently up to date. I tried to talk to my ped about this and she became angry and said not to blame her or vaccines for his autism. I was not blaming her or the vaccines. I just told her that I found out I was supposed to get handout pamplets before each vaccine and she never gave to me and I want to know what was in those vaccines especially since he had a triple vaccine in February that gave him fever, swollen leg and cried for two days. Any advice? I just do not want to risk harming my child any more than I may already have by getting all these vaccines.

Ok...here it is...my family hates the father...I mean, hate him!!!...I need to tell my 3 brothers and my mom...the only ones that know are my grandmother, and a couple of my friends. I need a VERY good idea to tell them. I know they wont like the idea of him being the father...but I also know they wont turn their backs on me and they will support me and help me all the way...I just need the right way to tell them.Thanks

I find that my son's bottle teats are all cloudy. I clean them really well in very hot water and usually microwave sterilise them, but since they went cloudy I've been soaking them in boiling water with a bit of detergent. It doesn't work though. I had the same problem with my daughter's, but when I soaked them they'd come out clear.

Anyone have any ideas why they do this and how I can fix it?

I'm getting so fed up with my neighbors! They brag all the time about all the new and expensive stuff they buy, but yet their kids are always asking me for food! Today, the woman asked my 9 year old to ask me if I could give her a loaf of bread. I simply told him to tell her we are out of bread, and told my 12 year old that he would run to the corner store for her if she gave him $2. He came back and said that she didn't have any money. Are they f*ckin' kidding me?! Then she sends the boy over here to ask for lunch because she doesn't feel like making it!!!! (yes, I'm preturbed) I told him we already had lunch. I feel bad for the boy, but I feel worse being taken advantage of by people who clearly have enough money to feed their family, while I'm over here making end$ meet.

What would you do?

I have now disclosed that my wife is pregnant to two people. The HR representative because I wanted to know a bit more about insurance coverage for the newborn and our VP because I needed more information about when an international transfer may take place. Disclosure to parents is planned over my birthday next week. Beyond that, we will tell the rest of the family and friends after the 12th week. Does this sound like a good idea as far as telling family and friends.

I have a very close friend that has an extremely hard head. He's my friend and also a father to 4 young girls. He told me about a month ago that he had to go to his 9yr old. school and pick her up cuz the teacher had called and she was acting out. She had been verbally warned by her father 2 days prior about the same thing. He told he would have to spank her if she did it again, in front of her school and classmates. So when he was called up again he did as he said he would and the way he told me was "I beat her little *** in front of all her friends". Now a month or so has gone by and it still weighs heavy on me. So I called him and asked to use spanking as a very last resort if that is what he chose to use as punishment. But to most importantly to do so at home or even elsewhere. So that other children didn't have to witness it. I tried to explain that he's a role model to all not to just his children. Although his daughter knew what would happen if she acted out again

I'm a mom of 2 and my period isn't due until the last day of July. My husband and I were planning on trying for a third in the early fall, so I'm off the pill and we've been using the withdrawal method (my husband has a latex allergy, so no condoms).

However, for the past few days, I've been feeling very nauseated and light-headed - very pregnant, in short.

My question is two-part: Has anyone else experienced pregnancy symptoms this early, and has anyone else gotten pregnant using the withdrawal method?

Im 8 months pregnant, and were having a boy next month, and My boyfriend is really going on about "your not supposed to cut the babies fingernails for one year" He says somewhere he read that you should chew off the newborns finger nails for the first year, otherwise the baby will grow up and be a criminal... has anyone ever heard of such nonsense before?

I told him the dr. will cut the fingernails once he's born because they will have already been growing, and he said he would yell at her if she does... What the hell is wrong with him?
I sure as hell am not going to chew off my baby finger nails because they will rip or tear or hurt him, but i cant get my boyfriend to let me cut the nails with nail cutters...any suggestions?...

I'm looking for alternative methods of conceiving rather than the expensive stuff...I've been tested and i'm healthy and able, and so is he, but we've had no luck, i am a big girl though..Even though half of my family are big, i'm the only one having a problem conceiving. I have very irregular periods, and not where i never get one, but one that doesnt want to go away ever!!!!! Doctors say i'm ok and they always want to put me on birth control to regulate...(Hello i want a baby) It's been almost eight years. So i'm turning to all of u for help, i've heard that prenatal pills will help, vitamin e, folic acid, and of course clomid, and ovulex. I'm going to try the prenatal pills first, and see what happens, if u have any input at all, i'm listening......

We just moved and my daughter will be attending a new school as a third grader. The second week of school I will be in Hawaii for my boyfriends company trip. Can't really pull her out of the second week of school to go to her dad's house (far away), and I'm gonna have to pay someone to stay with her, and get her toand from school.
