I am a newmom and wonder by how old should we establish the routine wake-up time for the baby? My baby ( 5 weeks old) woke up around 6 or 7 or 8 a.m. Then she went back to sleep again till around 10-11. I mean if I want to change her clothes and sponge bath her to make it a morning ritual, should it be around 8 a.m or 10 a.m.?
By the way, is it necessary to do so (establlishing a routine wake-up time) for 5 weeks old baby? Thanks for all answers.
P.S. I don't mean it has to be exact specific time daily.

I'm pregnant with a little girl :)

the thing is i have always said that if i have a girl i will call her Asia, only my boyfriend hates this name although we both like Neveah.

Can you tell me which you like best? I know some of you won't like either but if you could tell me which you prefer out of Asia and Neveah. Thank you :)

I was 17 week pregnant, my baby was very sick and he can survive even if I wait to give birth. My doctor told me that I need to have a D&E because the baby was very bad and something bad can happen to me. I got a abortion but know I feel very bad and I can stop thinking about it. I have a healthy son and I love him with all my heart, and I don't believe and abortion, but I did'nt want my unborn baby to suffer more. I did the right thing?

I'm 19 years old and petrified! I had unprotected sex about 2 weeks ago, he didn't ejaculate. I know semen are in pre-***. My period is usually like clockwork, and this is weird to me. I was due on Sunday, July 15th, it's not Friday. I'm never late. I took 5 hpt's. 3 of them were 1st response, 2 were E.P.T. They were all negative, not even a blurr. However, I'm so scared. I know i'm stressing myself out and making it worse, i haven't slept and I keep crying. If my mother found out, she'd flip. I'm so scared, please tell me I'm okay. I feel like my chances are so low. I don't feel any symptoms, except for when I'm alone, (not with my boyfriend, or sister that knows). All I can do is think about it and cry, please tell me I'm not pregnant.

i mean, i suppose it was possible that a little seman could have gotten down there but i cant remember a specific example. and im really worried. my period has NEVER been on time a day in my life so i cant trust that. but i do have some symptoms of pregnancy.. and im fifteen years old, i dont need a baby and im SO against abortion. and i really really need help. because if its possible i could be pregnant from that.. then..i need to talk to me mom as soon as possible.

Hi, Im 34 weeks 5 days. I have had mild menstrual like cramps on and off. I have an apt with my doc next week where I will be 35 weeks 4 days. He wants to give me an internal exam next week and says I could contract. Does that mean he thinks I will go into labor?????? I'm so confused!!! Does that usually happen???

My 23 mo. old was eating a chocolate donut and out of the blue, she leans into me and smiles and says "DELISHIOUS!!!!!!!!!!"! I had no idea she even knew that word!!! Too cute!!!!

I know im gonna get negative responses but about 2 months ago i stopped taking my vitamins, I took them for the first four months, I am now 6. It doesnt matter what kind they are, even Flintstones, i throw up every time. I eat pretty well, tryingt o get as many veggies and protein as I can and the baby is always good at my appointments, and he moves a lot. do you think this will have any serious affects on my baby?? I mean women had babies before there were vitamins right? I just feel guilty, but I hate throwing them up?

I am pregnant and many members in my family can not come into the delivery roomin according to hospital regualtions. I do not want to hurt anyones feelings. I hired a doula and she does not count as a person but a medical staff member she will be there to suppport me through my whole labor and delivery! Has anyone noticed that in high school health classes all they really teach you now-a-days is that you shouldn't have sex until you're married and that if you have unprotected sex you'll basically get pregnant or some deathly STD? I mean not to be blunt but alot of teens are already having sex, health class or not. Shouldn't they be given all the material to protect and choose for themselves? What do you guys think?

He's 12, a good boy, but, like most boys his age, sometimes he's somewhat disrespectful and sometimes likes to bully his lil sister, that is 10. I found a punishment that has worked great and is really changing the boy's behavior. When he is disrespectful or bullies his sister, I make him do extra chores wearing a full sweet frilly apron, with a large bow in the back. He gets embarrassed, but then I'm kinda firm. I dont humiliate him and let him know I love him, but depending on what he did, he has to spend some hours or even a day wearing that apron. But I don't make him wear it in public or in front of his friends.

i mentioned to a friend that my mom used to get us clothing at goodwill and yard sales even tho we had money for store bought things. we wore from all 3 really i explained.
she was floored and flipped that kids should never wear 2nd hand things.
there is nothing wrong in my eyes. most things kids wear is grown out of so fast they wear it only a few times.
i don't see a reason to pay $10-20 a shirt and $20 for pants for an infant/toddler/child to wear a few times when you can get 2nd near new things for pennies on the dollar.

i got over 40 pcs of clothing for a 2t girl on ebay for $50 total w/shipping and her mom spent $300 for clothing for her bday!


what makes ppl pay outrageous prices for clothing when you can get tons for cheap going 2nd hand... (you can just get specific things from store to "fill in" what you don't get 2nd hand)

Ok my periods are pretty irregular and the past four months they have been pretty regular and my hubby and i are tryin to have baby. I was due for my period yesterday (19th) and no sign but, I know that if you think about it it can make you period late. So Sunday I started cramping and i thaught okay my period is coming and then i felt a lil nausea and i keep getting these light cramping in my lower stomach. (not to be gross) But they are the types of cramps that feel like you need to go to the bathroom or a period I couldn't tell. My friend told me my breast look bigger. And it seems like everytime I talk about pregnancy my breat begin to hurt with out even thinkin about it. But no period . I am scared to take a test b/c of so many disappointing times. what do you think the likely hood of me being pregnant is? Should i take a test today?
