If you don't have insurance through your employer (and are highly paid), how do you get independent insurance?

Call an insurance agent. They can set you up on a private policy. They are a lot more expensive than group policies though.

Pick up the phone book and look under health insurance.

Blue Cross is a popular place to start.

there are some places that give u medical insurance for u and ur baby

i don't know. I'm sure there should be ADs in newspaper and stuff where you can get insurance
