Well my 15 month old and I are pretty much on our own most of the time... daddy is on the road all the time. Shes a daddys girl and misses him. Yesterday I slowly turned her light on to wake her up in the morning for the sitter and from sleeping she jumped up with a big smile and said "Daddy?" real loud and excited. He usually likes to surprise her when shes alseep and goes to get her. It was the custest thing. She just looked at me after and said "mommy" and put her head down. I used to feel like she didn't like me sometimes but I just have to take in shes a big daddys girl and I dont mind that. I am 4 weeks away from having a little boy maybe he'll be a momas boy.

Oh gosh... where do I start? It seems everything she says just makes me say Awww... LOL My daughter does like to hug and kiss and say "I love you" a lot and those are definitely Awwww moments. Also, when she plays with her dolls. She is so gentle with them as if she's taking care of a real baby. If they fall, she even picks them up and kisses them and says "it's okay baby". Once, she saw me bump my head on the pantry door and she ran right up to me and gave me a hug and kissed my head and said "it's okay, you'll be alright mommy". It was so cute! She even tells me not to worry sometimes. And when she wants you to pick her up, she says "hold it" instead of "hold me". She's always done that and I've always thought it was the cutest thing. Well, I will stop now because I could go on and on.....
Aren't kids just so cute!

This was a long time ago, but when I was pregnant with my youngest, the second one was about 3 and she would rub my back while I was getting sick in the bathroom.
Now my youngest, 3, when she sees I am not really in a great mood she will come up and say " lemee see your smiley face" in this voice that sounds like how adults will talk to a baby. I can't help but smile. Anytime I need a mental pick me up I say it to my self.

My daughter is 16 months old and when we are playing and she gets a little too rough and kinda hurts me I pout out my bottom lip. She looks at me with concern. And I say "You hurt Momma, Can I have a hug?" and she smiles and gives me the biggest and tightest squeeze. She's absolutely amazing!

My first daughter was in the room when my second daughter was born. My first was 3 yrs. and 3 months. When I had her sister, my mom was holding her (it's on video and priceless) and she said (in this total Boston accent she used to have for no reason, we live in Seattle),
"Mama, is that owe baby?"
I don't know how to spell it, like if you got hurt an owie, but that was her "our" like she would call car "cah". But it was just like OW if you slammed your finger in a door. It was emphasized and the best...
"Mama, is that owe baby?"
Like she was from Georgia ... a southern belle.
Oh - also I was a single mother so it was "our" baby and she knew that.

my 18 month old son used to be big on kisses, but for the past few months he wants nothing to do with them.
The other day we were in the grocery store and he was riding in the cart. All of a sudden he reached out, grabbed my shirt and pulled me towards him, I leaned in for a hug and he reached his little face up and gave me a big kiss! :) It was so sweet.
