I've recently started caring for a 3 1/2 month old baby boy. The mom is a young,single working mother. Just a few days ago she expressed to me how she hates working because she could very easily miss her baby's 'firsts'.
Today her son rolled over for the first time and I'm so torn. I want so much to tell her, but I also want to make her believe that when she sees him, she will be seeing him do it for the first time. Being a young single mom is hard enough, but knowing that you have to miss your childs milestones because you are taking responsibility just seems too much to bear. I know I might very well have to deal with this with ever milestone. What would you do?

Are there any tell tale signs that you might be able to look for without doing a test? When does morning sickness kick in? I'm not pregnant, but ttc, and right now my period is a week late but I've just done a test and it was negative. Tests are expensive, so don't want to have to buy one each time I'm late or suspect something.....

I'm babysitting a two month old baby and she wont stop crying. everytime she wakes up from a nap or anything she starts screaming. she wont eat for me and she just cries and cries. I swing her in her swing. i jiggle her. ive done everything on her mom's list. HELP!!!!!

I myself feel more comfortable with a female rather than a male. I actually switched obgyn's because the male doctor that I was going to barely even listened to a word I said and he treated his patients like cattle. My new female doctor is amazing. She's open minded, listens, and has great advice (plus she has two kids so she's been in my shoes before!) So what do you think, if you had a choice, would you go with a male or female doc and why? I'm not trying to discriminate against male obgyns, but I trust female ones more than males especially if they've had children before. They know the kinda pain we go through, ect, ect.

I have a 34 day cycle and in the 12th day i ovulated . on that day and three days after that my husband and i had sex with the intent of conceiving a child. Is there a possibility I am pregnant and how soon should i check it has only been a week.

My cousin's ex-girlfriend is pregnant with their child. He found out she's having a girl and wants to name the child Elise. (After his mother who died 18 months ago) His ex says no and wont even comprimise for a middlename. She wants to name the child Lola (A name my cousin hates.)
In this situation does the father have any say in what his child is named? Do you think he should?

I am currently on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. This is my third month on it, (I'm a Sunday starter) and I've never been on birth control before that. Me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex all of this month, and each time he would ejaculate in me. I'm on the beginning of the third week of (light blue) pills. We also had unprotected sex (with him ejaculating in me) last night. I had five more of them to go. If I lost them, and I have no more of the monthly packs to take it's place, what is my likeliness of getting pregnant?

Everytime he is told no he cant do something he hits and fights with me , screaming and crying like a wild child. I put him in either the crib or play pen to keep him contained and in "time out" he just screams if I allow it untill he falls asleep the longest has been 45 min. I would close him off in his room and check on him every 10 to 15 minto make sure he was ok, but he just tries to reach out and hit me more Im at my wits end and dont know what we shold do , I know that he has his back 2 yr molars breaking but what to do PPPLLLEEAASSEEE HHEELLPPP MMMEEE Thank You so much!!!

I recently got custody of my nephew and am a lot poorer than what he is used to. I just don't have the extra money for his classes in high school. I have to tell him that he can't be on the football team ($200 this year) and the swim team ($75.00) nor do I ahve the money for his drivers ed ($200). Some of the elective classes he wants to take (woodshop and drafting) I just can't afford either (it's $175.00 for both classes). I ahte to tell him that I can't afford it but the required school fees ($165) are just killing my budget plus his school clothes, etc. This is a public school, but there are class charges for just about every class. How do I explain to him that I just don't have it. He is 15.

I just posted my question about whether or not I could be pregnant, I still don't know. However, last month my period was a day late and then when I started I just spotted. ThenI got a really bad pain in my lower stomach that doubled me over. After that I bled heavy for about an hour. Then I just started spotting again for another day and I stopped. I took 3 pregnancy tests and they all came back negative. Could they have been wrong? How could I know? How far would I have to have been to really know?

I live in LA and the Dodger Stadium has sleep overs where kids see a movie, eat Dodger Dogs and then sleep under the stars....My boy wants to go but someone told him it was 'stupid and gay' and he could do it in the back yard just as easy.

What do you think? Dodger Stadium or back yard? Fun or stupid?

Gay is not a reference to sexuality. It is a term this ding-dong uses for anything she doesnt think is the in-thing to do.....

Okay, the first day of my last period was June 28, I have a 30 day cycle, I am suppose to ovulate this week, I have been taking Ovulation test (ANSWER) and it says that I havent ovulated (or had my LH surge) yet, but the day before yesterday and yesterday I had Egg White Cervical Mucas (i kno ugghh) not much either days, but enough for me to notice it a couple of times when I went to the bathroom, and soo me and my husband did the baby dance both nights and last sunday night, and now today, I am completley dry, but have some twinging pain in my right ovary......do u think i already ovulated? do you get completly dry after u ovulate?? Help!! Be nice please :)

I have a blood problem and have been on the bc pill for 7 years. My boyfriend and I have been having sex for 2 1/2 years and haven't been using condoms for over a year. In the last 3 years, I've never missed more than 6 or 7 pills at the most and I just double up. Last month my period was a day late and then it was light for a day. Then I got a BAD pain in my lower stomach, it got heavy for about an hour, and then I spotted for a day. I took 3 pregnancy tests and they all came back negative. This month, it was almost a whole day late and I just spotted once a TINY bit on a tampon and then I've done nothing else. My periods are ususally only from Wednesday morning to Friday night.It's Thursday morning and that's all I've done, but my stomachs been hurting. In the last 3-4 months, there was once when I fell asleep before I took my pill but I went ahead and took it the next morning. I'm only 17 and about to start my senior year in high school, I'm really scared and I don't know what to do

Hi everyone. I am posting my question in this section because I know Ill get feed back from other women who know what I am talking about. I am currently 11 weeks pregnant as of today and almost 2 year married. Things with my husband have been real rocky the past few weeks. Ive tried talking to him about whats wrong but he always tells me "NOTHING". Last night when he got home from work within minutes he was being snappy... all I did was ask why he didnt call me to let me know he was working late. After he freaked out I asked him what was wrong and to just be honest with me. He then stood up and scrame "ITS THIS PREGNANCY. THATS WHATS WRONG". I had no clue what to say. I just started crying because I was under the understanding that we BOTH wanted this child. We ended up "talking" for over 3 hours and he blames all our problems on me being pregnant. I dont know what to do or say to him. I cried myelf to sleep and today I dont even want to see him. What should I do?
